Embodiments of universal adapter system including a belt adapter for a belt, such as a tactical belt, configured to couple one or more pack adapters secured to a respective load bearing pack, such as a backpack. Other embodiments of the universal adapter systems may be described and claimed.

An axle strap includes a strap, a first end piece disposed on a first end of the strap, and a second end piece disposed on a second end of the strap; wherein the first end piece and the second end piece are capable of coupling. The strap can be made of a high-strength fabric, and the first end of the strap and the second end of the strap can be looped. In an embodiment, the end pieces are made of a ferromagnetic material, preferably an iron alloy such as steel, and the coupling is ferromagnetic coupling. To obtain sufficient magnetic attraction one or more permanent magnet can be used. In another embodiment, the end pieces can be coupling by hook-and-loop fasteners attached to the ends of the strap adjacent the end pieces.

Systems and methods for coupling a clip to a wearable item with a receiver. The methods comprise: receiving the clip's latch structure in the receiver's channel; sliding the latch structure's side members against a channel surface; sliding the latch structure's latch body against the channel's opening edge; bending the latch body by biasing the latch body towards the latch structure's common body portion as the latch body slides against the edge; inserting the latch body and the side members through the channel until at least the free end of the latch body no longer resides in the channel, the latch body automatically unbending when the free end of the latch body no longer resides in the channel; and preventing at least the free end of the latch body from re-entering the channel such that the clip is coupled to the wearable item.

Systems and methods for coupling a clip to a wearable item with a receiver. A connector assembly comprising a base having an adapter and a retainer, the adapter configured to reversibly couple to a wearable device using a magnet, ferromagnetic material, or combinations thereof; an elastic member partially positioned within the retainer, the elastic member having a first loop portion adjacent a first end of the retainer and a second loop portion adjacent a second end of the retainer; and wherein the elastic member is configured to stretchably move with respect to the base such that, responsive to a force pulling the first loop portion over a portion of an eyewear frame, the second loop portion changes in size.

A lanyard end connector has a connector body and a connector holder. The connector body has a first body end with an enclosed opening adapted for receiving a lanyard end, a second body end having an attachment structure, a central portion defining a connector body frame that delineates a connector body chamber having at least one side window opening, and at least one lanyard tab connected to the connector body frame and adapted for rotatable movement into and away from the at least one side window opening. The connector holder has a holder body with first and second holder end openings and a circumferential holder body wall defining a holder body chamber where the connector body is disposed within the holder body chamber.

A printable hook and loop engaging structure is configured to create a temporary bind as one half of a hook and loop connection with another half of the hook and loop connection. The printable structure includes a substrate and a print-receptive topcoat coupled to the substrate. The substrate includes a fastening surface that is one of a hook fastening surface and a loop fastening surface of the hook and loop connection. The print-receptive topcoat is opposite from the fastening surface of the substrate.

A chew toy for dogs is an assembled kit including a noisemaker and a plush section with a spine that attaches to another more rigid component. The image tag is pressed against a clip base of the garment and accessory attachment and secured with a first tag restraint and a second tag restraint of the garment and accessory attachment. The garment and accessory attachment is mounted to a garment or accessory through a clip arm. The clip arm is adjacently connected to the clip base, opposite to the first tag restraint and the second tag restraint.
