RESILIENT SNAP CONNECTOR SYSTEM
The resilient snap connector system includes a resilient connector strap selectively coupled to a first connector and a second connector spaced from the first connector to form a bridged connection between the first and second connectors. In a typical use, the first connector is fixed to a deformable object, such as a tarp, and the second connector is fixed to another object, such as a hull. The resilient connector strap enables connection between the objects when the separation distance may be too long for normal engagement of the connectors by stretching to accommodate the separation. A pull tab is provided on the resilient connector strap to assist in the stretching and coupling.
TEMPORARY WEARABLE MODIFICATION SYSTEM FOR GARMENTS
A garment modification system comprising at least one garment modification device, comprising a primary face, a connecting mechanism, a transitioning section, an adjustable arm, and a joint connecting the transitioning section and the adjustable arm. The adjustable arm is operable to be positionable in a first orientation such that a portion of a garment is retained by the garment modification system and in a second orientation where the portion of the garment is not retained by the garment modification system. The connecting mechanism is operable to couple to a connecting mechanism of an adjacent garment modification device.
Tether clip for hard hats
A slot member for a hard hat having a universal accessory slot includes a slot member body having a proximal body end portion and a distal body end portion, a front face, and a rear face. The slot member body includes a resilient tab protruding away from the front face of the slot member body and a lip extending away from the rear face of the slot member body and defining a catch surface facing towards the distal body end portion. The slot member body is plate-like and sized to be received through the universal accessory slot of the hard hat with the lip overlapping the slot rim. A latch plate adjoins and extends distally from the distal body end portion of the slot member body, where the latch plate has a latch opening defining an attachment handle.

Forming A Trimmed Assembly
A trim assembly includes a first trim member and a second trim member, each including an aesthetically-pleasing surface and a substrate-facing surface. A plurality of circumferentially-arranged projections extends axially away from substrate-facing surface of the first trim member. The second trim member includes an aesthetically-pleasing surface and a substrate-facing surface. A circumferential projection extends axially away from substrate-facing surface of the second trim member. The circumferential projection includes an axially-extending portion and a radially-extending portion. The radially-extending portion extends radially outwardly away from the axially-extending portion. The radially-extending portion forms a plurality of circumferentially-arranged passages configured for receiving the plurality of circumferentially-arranged projections for joining the first trim member to the second trim member when the plurality of circumferentially-arranged projections are at least partially disposed within the plurality of circumferentially-arranged passages. A trimmed assembly is also disclosed. A method for forming a trimmed assembly is also disclosed.
Fixing belt, fixing method, and fixing belt member
A fixing belt which includes: a double-sided hook surface fastener having hook-like engaging elements on both surfaces thereof; and a double-sided loop surface fastener having loop-like engaging elements on both surfaces thereof. The double-sided hook surface fastener is an extrusion molding surface fastener, the double-sided hook surface fastener is folded back in a length direction in a shape of an alligator's mouth, and the double-sided hook surface fastener is fixed to a first mounting object at a folded-back portion by a rivet. One end portion of the double-sided loop surface fastener is tucked by the alligator's mouth, the double-sided loop surface fastener is folded back by an annular part fixed to a second mounting object, and the other end portion of the double-sided loop surface fastener engages with an outer side surface of the alligator's mouth.
Hook and dee for firefighter protective coats
There is provided a firefighter protective coat including an outer shell and a plurality of hook-and-dee pairs. The outer shell has left and right front panels and a closable front opening. The left and right front panels have a border area extending along the front opening and includes a closure flap foldable over the border area. Each hook-and-dee pair includes a hook and a dee. The hook includes a hooking piece extending across a width of the border area and an asymmetric base fastened to coat panel. The asymmetric base includes upper and lower wings projecting strictly on top and bottom sides of the hooking piece. The dee is affixed to another coat panel and is in alignment with the corresponding hook. The dee includes a ring engageable with the hooking piece and a longitudinal base fastened to the corresponding coat panel and extending parallelly to the front opening.
Harness connection arrangement
A connection arrangement for use with a wearable body harness has a first connector having a body with a first portion of a locking mechanism and a second connector having a body with a second portion of the locking mechanism. The first portion of the locking mechanism has a tab connected to the body of the first connector and a slot having a first portion extending through the body of the first connector and a second portion extending through the tab. The second portion of the locking mechanism has a tongue configured for being received through the first portion of the slot, and an intermediate connecting element having a first end connected to the body of the second connector and a second end connected to the tongue. The second end of the intermediate connecting element is offset from the body of the second connector.
LOOP ELEMENT OF HOOK/LOOP FASTENER AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A hook-and-loop fastener has a hook element comprising a substrate having a face from which projects a multiplicity of hooks and a loop element formed by of a fiber web. The fiber web is formed by a homogenous mixture of first multicomponent filaments each formed by a high-melting-point polymer and a low-melting-point polyolefinic polymer and second polyolefinic monocomponent filaments. The first filaments constitute between 20% and 80% by weight of the mixture. The fiber web has a face formed with a patterned array of dense bonded regions of a predetermined small thickness interspersed with less dense open regions of a predetermined big thickness substantially greater than the small thickness of the small thickness interspersed with less dense open regions of a predetermined big thickness substantially greater than the small thickness of the bonded regions so that the filaments of the open regions form loops.
