Pre-Saturated Disinfecting Disposable Microfiber Wipes
A pre-saturated disposable disinfecting wipe may include a microfiber cloth. The microfiber cloth may include a low weight substrate having a first face and an opposed second face, and microfiber yarn attached to the low weight substrate in a plurality of parallel rows of stitches. The pre-saturated disposable disinfecting wipe further includes a disinfecting formulation saturated in the microfiber cloth. The pre-saturated disposable disinfecting wipe may have a single-touch two-minute wetness coverage of more than 100 in.sup.2. A method of manufacturing a pre-saturated disposable disinfecting wipe may include saturating, with a disinfecting formulation, a microfiber cloth.
Process for producing nonwoven
A process for producing nonwoven materials is provided. The process includes: providing a three-phase (gas-liquid-solid) suspension, providing a first moving carrier sieve, applying the three-phase suspension onto the first moving carrier sieve to produce a fibrous web, removing aqueous residue of the three-phase suspension through the first carrier sieve, recycling the aqueous residue, pre-integrating the fibrous web by flushing the web with water and collecting flushed water, transferring the pre-integrated fibrous web from the first moving carrier sieve to a second moving carrier sieve, and hydroentangling the fibrous web. The three-phase suspension contains natural and/or manmade fibres, a surfactant, and air.
Modified cross-section lyocell material for tobacco filter, and preparation method therefor
This invention relates to a lyocell material for a tobacco filter and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly to a lyocell fiber having a modified cross-section for a tobacco filter, wherein the cross-sectional shape of a monofilament contained in a lyocell fiber is controlled to increase the external surface area of the fiber, after which then crimps are formed, thereby exhibiting properties equal or superior to those of conventional lyocell materials, even when used in a small amount.
Bedding product including composite layer and method of manufacture
A composite layer for use in a bedding product such as a mattress and a method of manufacture are disclosed. The composite layer generally includes an extruded three dimensional fibrous layer and a foam material, e.g., polyurethane, latex or the like, disposed within the fibrous layer and occupying at least a portion of the free volume in the layer. Also disclosed are processes for manufacturing a foam-fiber composite.
High-performance adhesive roll cleaner
The present invention relates to a high-performance adhesive roll cleaner including: an adhesive tape roll formed by winding an adhesive tape, having an adhesive layer formed on one surface of a warp-knitted fabric base layer, so that the adhesive layer faces outward; and a support body configured to rotatably support the adhesive tape roll; wherein the warp-knitted fabric base layer may be continuously cut at intervals of 2 mm. The present invention may provide remarkable advantages in that the adhesive tape may be easily cut at a desired position during use, and may be used repeatedly due to the excellent initial tack thereof, so that the economic efficiency thereof may be maximized while the waste thereof is prevented.
METHOD FOR MAKING LAMINATED LIGHT-BLOCKING DECORATIVE ARTICLE
Laminated light-blocking decorative articles are prepared by applying an aqueous foamed opacifying composition to a non-woven fabric, drying, laminating a decorative fabric to the resulting dry foamed opacifying layer, and densifying that layer to have a thickness that is at least 20% less than before densifying. This operation can be carried out so that non-woven fabric, decorative fabric, and aqueous foamed opacifying composition are supplied in a single-pass, in-line operation to make any desired quantity of a laminated light-blocking decorative article. The applied aqueous foamed opacifying composition has 35%-70% solids and a foam density of 0.1-0.5 g/cm.sup.3. It is composed of (a) porous particles, (b) a binder material, (c) two or more additives comprising at least one foaming surfactant and at least one foam stabilizer, (d) an aqueous medium, and (e) at least 0.0001 weight % of an opacifying colorant that absorbs electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength of 380-800 nm.
NONWOVEN MATERIAL, USE OF THE NONWOVEN MATERIAL, AND WIPING CLOTH, DRYING CLOTH AND FACE MASK CONTAINING THE NONWOVEN MATERIAL
The invention relates to a nonwoven as well as to a wipe, a face mask and a dryer sheet including the nonwoven, which includes a network of molded bodies, the nonwoven, in the dry state, having a specific opacity of greater than or equal to 1.0%.Math.m.sup.2/g. In order to create a nonwoven of low basis weight, which is easy to produce and has, without special modifications, a high specific opacity, it is proposed that the molded bodies are regenerated cellulosic molded bodies and are materially interconnected via node points to form the network, and the regenerated cellulosic molded bodies comprising monofilament sections extending between node points, whose diameter varies along their lengthwise extension and which have a diameter of less than or equal to 15 μm for at least 90% of their lengthwise extension.
Yarn manufacturing
A process for manufacturing a yarn includes twisting the yarn in a first direction for a predefined number of twists. The method also includes, after the predefined number of twists, twisting the yarn in a second direction for a predefined number of twists, the predefined number of twists for the second yarn is same as the predefined number of twists for the first yarn. The twisting of the yarn in the second direction creates an air bed within the yarn's fibers.
PILE FABRIC
Provided is a pile fabric that can provide both a soft touch feel and durability (pile retention and/or suppression of pile loss). The pile fabric is provided with a base structure formed from a warp and weft and a loop pile formed from pile yarn. The pile yarn is twisted yarn with a twist factor of 2.0 or greater. When the pile yarn is untwisted yarn or weakly twisted yarn, insoluble yarn prior to water soluble yarn elimination is twisted yarn with a twist factor of 2.0 or greater. The proportion of pile height to pile yarn diameter is 40 or greater. The gap between adjacent pile yarn strands is 0.5 mm or less. The pile yarn is 50-120 English yarn count. The loop pile has snarling, and the snarling for adjacent piles is entangled.
HOLLOW FIBER
The present disclosure is directed to provide a hollow fiber which is lightweight and has a texture with good volumic feel and good cushioning property. The hollow fiber of the present disclosure is a hollow fiber composed of a composition containing a vinylidene chloride-based resin as a main component, wherein the hollow fiber has a hollow ratio of more than 30% and 70% or less, an average outer diameter of 50 to 900 m, a strength of 0.7 to 2 g/d, and a heat shrinkage rate after being heated at 100 C. for 15 minutes of 30% or less.
