TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
A cargo container loading and unloading system for a transportation system, the cargo container loading and unloading system including a loading zone; and at least one opening connecting the loading zone to a transportation tube of the transportation system.
FEED MATERIAL PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR APPLYING, DISTRIBUTING AND COMPACTING FEED MATERIAL IN DEFINED LAYER HEIGHTS
A feedstock processing apparatus for applying, distributing, and compacting feedstock in defined layer heights may include a chassis with a traction drive and a first and second undercarriage, a frame structure that connects the two undercarriages over a span width of the feedstock processing apparatus, a material feeding device coupled to the frame structure, a material distributing device coupled to the material feeding device and displaceable in certain sections over the span width and configured to apply the feedstock in layers on soil in different, predefinable height positions between the undercarriages, and a compacting device displaceably mounted on the frame structure and/or the material distributing device. The compacting device and the material distributing device can be displaced in a manner dependent on one another respectively along a predefinable movement path. A corresponding method is also disclosed.
BLOCK FOR GEOTECHNICAL APPLICATIONS, A METHOD OF MAKING A BLOCK FOR GEOTECHNICAL APPLICATIONS AND A METHOD OF MAKING A STRUCTURE USING A BLOCK FOR GEOTECHNICAL APPLICATIONS
A block for geotechnical applications is disclosed, the block having a composite body which is a section of a used wind turbine blade including a part of its leading edge, trailing edge and the windward surface and leeward surface of the used blade. The body is open from above and below. Fragments of the windward surface, leeward surface, leading edge and trailing edge of the used blade are the block's side walls. The inside of the body is filled with a filling material. A method of making a block for geotechnical applications is also disclosed. Under the method, a section is marked on a used wind turbine blade between its tip and root for mounting in a hub. Then, within this section, the block body is cut out, in two cutting planes parallel to each other, in the form of a fragment with a closed cross section, including a part of a leading edge, trailing edge, windward shell and leeward shell of this blade, then this body is filled with a filling material, making its filling.
Rail for straddle-type rail transit system
The present disclosure discloses a rail for a straddle-type rail transport system, where a straddle recess is constructed on the rail to form an escape passage. The rail for a straddle-type rail transport system according to these embodiments of the present disclosure has advantages such as facilitation of evacuation of passengers in an emergency, low costs, small occupied space, small weight bearing, and high stability.

MAGNETIC LEVITATION RAILWAY SYSTEM
Magnetic levitation railway system for integration in a wheel railway track, comprising a magnetic levitation railway track including a linear motor and magnetic levitation rails arranged on outer sides of the wheel railway track, said magnetic levitation rail comprising a conductive guide rail having at least a horizontal portion configured for a magnetic levitation railway vehicle having a levitation device with magnets. The guide rail is configured for passive levitation of the magnetic levitation railway vehicle due to the electromotive force generated by the moving magnets of the magnetic levitation railway vehicle.
TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
A high-speed transportation system, the system including at least one transportation path having at least one track, at least one transportation vehicle configured for travel along the at least one transportation path, a propulsion system adapted to propel the at least one transportation vehicle along the at least one transportation path; and a levitation system adapted to levitate the transportation vehicle along the at least one transportation path. The at least one transportation vehicle additionally comprises wheels for at least intermittently supporting the transportation vehicle on the at least one track.
GEOENGINEERING CONSTRUCTIONS FOR USE IN RAILWAYS
There is disclosed a railway geogrid construction suitable for use with high speed trains to mitigate the increased impact of Rayleigh waves generated at high speed and/or over soft subgrades, the construction comprising: a track bed (e.g. having rails for a train) which defines a track located on a track plane; a mass of particulate material (e.g. aggregate) forming a layer located beneath the track plane; and a geogrid located in and/or below the particulate mass in a plane (geogrid plane) substantially parallel to the track plane where the average distance between the track plane and geogrid plane, measured perpendicular to both is greater than 0.65 metres.

System and method for sub-grade stabilization of railroad bed
The invention is a system and method for repairing, improving, and stabilizing subgrade and subsoil/natural ground layers of a rail bed generally consisting of softer soils. One embodiment includes a method of installing subsurface inclusions and ballast fills comprising injected slurry mixtures of stabilizing material such as cement grout mixed with in situ soil. Another embodiment includes a system of installed ground inclusions and ballast fills. Another embodiment includes an integrated system of equipment for emplacing the system of inclusions and ballast fills.
