Airflow-enhanced embankment ventilation structure, composite embankment structure, and construction method thereof
A composite embankment structure includes an embankment, an airflow-enhanced embankment ventilation structure, and a heat pipe system. The embankment includes an embankment filler layer, a ventilation slab lower leveling layer, a ventilation slab upper cushion, and a pavement structure layer arranged in sequence from bottom to top. The ventilation slab in the airflow-enhanced embankment ventilation structure is arranged between the ventilation slab lower leveling layer and the ventilation slab upper cushion. The heat pipe system includes a heat pipe, and one end of the heat pipe is inserted into the embankment from an embankment slope and is located under the ventilation slab.
URBAN TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS SYSTEM
The invention relates to transport and logistics systems of large cities, and may be used in construction of cities with population of over five hundred thousand people. The technical result of the proposed solution is to optimize the urban transport and logistics system, eliminate traffic congestions and ensure rapid movement to any point in the city. The urban transport and logistics system includes the first ground level for road and rail freight transport, the second level of pipeline and technical communications, the third level of passenger transport, the fourth pedestrian level, each level being located one above the other, and they are connected with each other and with residential and non-residential buildings by vertical staircase-elevator modules.
ROADWAY INFRASTRUCTURE FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES
An elevated roadway for autonomous vehicles may include a pylon extending vertically from a ground anchor and comprising a metal tube defining a central cavity and a concrete column within the central cavity. The elevated roadway further includes a bracket coupled to the pylon and comprising a mounting plate secured to the pylon and a cantilevered road support member extending from the mounting plate. The elevated roadway may further include a cantilevered road section coupled to the pylon via the cantilevered road support member and comprising a joist structure structurally coupled to the cantilevered road support member, a road member above the joist structure and supported by the joist structure, and first and second side barriers along first and second sides of the road member, respectively. The road member may be adapted to receive a four-wheeled roadway vehicle.
Continuous Flow City
Continuous Flow City is a new type of urban design that combines Ondulating and Linear Highways in a way that allows the continuos flow of traffic. This urban design can be used to build new cities or expand existing ones. The Ondulating Highways intersect perpendiculary at different levels with Linear Highways connected by interchanges. The Ondulanting Highways are parallel and inverted with respect to the previous one never crossing each other, creating the shape of the human eye. The resulting oculiform spaces in between the Ondulating Highways can be used for residential, commercial, agriculture, recreational, etc. or industrial areas. This highway system is repeated in a modular form, infinitively, throughout the whole development, resulting in a continuous flow highway system. This urban design reduces travel time and accidents by eliminating the need for intersections, traffic lights, stop signs, and other obstructions and allowing drivers to reach a destination without stopping.
Method and apparatus for forming tunnels for transport routes
A method and apparatus for forming a tunnel structure at a relatively shallow depth from the surface, which tunnel can be used as a replacement or additional transport route to an existing transport route (2) which is already formed on the surface. The method comprises the steps of forming two spaced apart access tunnels (hatched portion) to expose the tracks, introducing units (22) comprising side walls portions (26, 28) and a roof section (30) by moving the units along the tracks while excavating the soil in which the tunnel is to be formed is in advance of the leading edge of the units.
Movable track for barefoot walking
The movable track for barefoot walking is designed to provide healthy exercise and to prevent and heal chronic and casual diseases by walking in bare feet while executing a marathon on the movable track. The movable track for barefoot walking includes a movable/portable, lightweight, waterproof, fiberglass platform or base having a connected assembly of waling surface sections thereon. Each section has unique physical and medical benefits for use by a marathoner. The sections include: a first section having high and low areas of ground; a gravel and stone section; a sand section; a grass section; a water section; and a clay section. Provisions are made within the confines of the track for a water tank, pumping capabilities, clothing storage, bath facilities and appropriate controls.
Combination parking structure, roadway and train station
The combination parking structure, roadway and train station is a commuter-based system for relieving traffic congestion. The combination parking structure, roadway and train station includes a parking structure having a plurality of levels, at least one roadway, and a train station within the parking structure. A primary entry ramp branches from the at least one roadway, and a plurality of secondary entry ramps each branch from the primary entry ramp. Each secondary entry ramp connects with, and leads into, a corresponding one of the plurality of levels of the parking structure. Similarly, a primary exit ramp feeds into the at least one roadway, and a plurality of secondary exit ramps each connects with, and leads from, a corresponding one of the plurality of levels of the parking structure and feeds into the primary exit ramp. An internal portion of a set of train tracks is located within the parking structure.
Road noise reduction apparatus and installation method therefor
A noise reducing roadway includes pipe-shaped bodies having a fitting groove formed toward an inside of one end, a shim protruding outward from the other end and a communication portion formed at a side portion of the body to allow the hollow interior to communicate with the outside environment. A heating wire is provided to prevent ice from filling the pipe-shaped bodies.
Multi-story crossroad and its traffic method with intensive land use and multiple functions
A multifunctional and multi-story crossroad for intensive land use relates to urban road construction engineering and solves technical problems of urban traffic jams through space division and streamlined design, without occupying the land outside the road. It achieves: operating smoothly without red lights, large vehicle-free intersection space on the ground, large parking areas, long side of the road border between the parking area and roads, bicycle exclusive system. Technical elements include: learning from building design, multi-story crossroad, Turning Right and Looping Back technique, exclusive bikeway interlayer, adding a lane, and large steps above ramp of a tunnel. It is a combination of a smoothly flowing crossroad technique, viaduct and the tunnel. The main purposes are: for new construction and renovation of crossroad in congested cities, and development of city fast lanes, elevated roads and tunnels.
