Interlocking paving brick assembly
11753776 · 2023-09-12 · ·

An interlocking paving brick assembly comprises a protruding brick (10) and a recessing brick (20). The protruding brick is a block and comprises a first top portion (11) and four first sidewalls (12). Every angle between each of the first sidewall and the first top portions is a right angle, each of the first sidewall comprises a tenon structure (13). The recessing brick is a block, including a second top portion (21) and four second sidewalls (22). Every angle between each of the second sidewall and the second top portions is a right angle, and each of the second sidewall comprises a mortise structure (23). The tenon structure of the protruding brick and the mortise structure of the recessing brick is structurally complementary to each other, so the protruding brick and the recessing brick can be connected by the tenon structure and the mortise structure to form the interlocking paving brick assembly.

Disclosed herein are paver adhesives including dry concrete mixes. The paver adhesive can include cement, silica sand, alumina silicate, and latex or acrylic polymer. The paver adhesive can be configured to be applied to a substrate in a dry state. The paver adhesive can be configured to become hydrated subsequent to pavers being installed over the paver adhesive, and the paver adhesive can be configured to cure and adhere paver tiles to the substrate following the hydrating.

TACTILE WARNING PANEL APPARATUS WITH SMART TECHNOLOGY

Multipurpose tactile warning panels for use in pedestrian walkways, and in particular tactile warning panels that are designed and built with multifunction/multipurpose capabilities that serve the visually impaired and enable the deployment of smart city technology by integrating tactile warning systems and subsurface enclosures that can withstand pressures of five (5) tons up to and exceeding sixty (60) tons and incorporate small cells, beacons, sensors, Fog Computing, electric energy generation, rechargeable power supplies, wireless M2M communication and a plethora of other smart city technologies.

Apparatus for laying a paver

An apparatus for laying a paver has a body portion having a top side and an underside. A raised paver guide is located on the top side and is positioned to receive the paver when the paver is against the top side. The underside is at least partially hollow.

Pedestal mounted paver heating system

Some deck or patio areas constructed of pavers mounted on adjustable pedestal supports must remain snow and ice free on their top surfaces. The pedestal-mounted paver heating system is designed to allow easy installation of electric heating cable that is positioned against the bottom surface of pavers so that heat generated by the cable is efficiently transferred up into the pavers to raise their temperature enough to prevent the accumulation of snow and ice on their top surfaces.

Paver and pavement made therefrom
11384487 · 2022-07-12 ·

The invention relates to a paving stone (1) and to a paving produced using same. A strip-shaped connection section (4) is provided at least on one lateral face of the paving stone, which vertically projects from same and interacts with strip-shaped connection sections of adjoining stones in the course of producing a paving and establishing a connection. The connection section (4) has a stepped shape with at least three graduated shoulders one over another. This both achieves a joint that expands in the upward direction, and prevents the pointing from loosening or being cast upward when forces act upon the paving, for example when subject to vibrations.

The present invention relates to a novel stone laying tool which allows for a perfect stone fit for irregularly sized and shaped stones. The tool is a compact, lightweight, one-piece device made from polypropylene and is positioned between two stones. More specifically, the tool has a pointed peg end and an opposite planar wedge end. The tool provides the functions of both a peg and a wedge and therefore eliminates the need to use separate wedges and pegs.

FLOORING ELEMENT
20220112725 · 2022-04-14 ·

A flooring element suitable for connection to other elements in a flooring system. The flooring element comprises a body, a female connector and a retainer. The body defines a connector surface that is horizontal when in use. The female connector comprises a connector recess which is suitable for receiving a male connector and also which defines a connector opening in the connector surface. The retainer is connectable to the body such that, while it is connected to the body, the retainer is movable between and open position and a closed position. When in the closed position, the retainer is arranged to restrict movement of the male connector to guard against the male connector exiting the connector recess through the connector opening. When in the open position, the retainer does not restrict movement of the male connector thereby permitting the male connector to exit the connector recess through the connector opening.
