Underlayment panel having drainage channels
An impact-absorbing assembly includes a covering layer being one or more of artificial turf, rubber mats, polymer mats, short pile carpeting, particulate infill, wood chips, and ground rubber chips. Also included is a layer of underlayment panels positioned beneath the covering layer. The panels have a panel section with a plurality of drain holes formed therethrough. A top surface of the panels is configured to support the covering layer. A bottom surface of the panels has a plurality of bottom projections that cooperate to define bottom channels suitable to permit water flow across the bottom surface, the bottom channels being in fluid communication with the panel drain holes. The bottom projections define a first spring rate characteristic that is part of a first stage and a second spring rate characteristic is part of a second stage, the first stage having a smaller volume of material than the second stage.
OUTDOOR FOOD PARK FOR USE WITH MOBILE FOOD TRUCKS
A food truck park for mobile food trucks provides a destination with a unique atmosphere and improved layout for arranging the food trucks. The food park includes a parking area and a raised pedestrian walkway. The walkway includes extended pier portions that extend into the parking area. The extended pier portions define parking slips for the mobile food trucks. The walkway is raised with respect to the parking area to provide easy access to the service windows of the mobile food trucks. The food truck park may further include electrical hookups for the mobile food trucks.
Foldable/Mobile Skate/Snowboard Performance Half Pipe Ramp
The enclosed invention is a portable professional regulation size skate board and snowboard half pipe park. The park is made up of two mobile trailer units. Each unit consisting of a quarter ramps, performer platform with safety railing and a weather canopy cover. One unit consists of spectator platform and spiral staircase for climbing to the platform.
Each unit comprising of structural steel framing is mechanically operated using hydraulics to raise and lower the unit on the a axis and raise and lower the quarter ramps on V axis, safety rails followed by horizontal movement on the X and Y axis.
Once placed, the units, facing each other in a parallel position, hydraulically raised, then quarter ramps lowered and then hydraulically moved in the horizontal position connecting the two individual quarter ramps to be mechanically attached providing a smooth surface transition as required for the professional skate board performer.
Apparatus, system and methods for determining the impact attenuation of a surface
The instant disclosure relates to an apparatus, system and methods for determining the impact attenuation or hardness of a surface for a playground or sports field in order to mitigate or reduce sports and playground related injuries.

Method for cooling of synthetic turf
The present invention provides for synthetic turf infill materials and methods of making such materials wherein the surfaces of the materials have been modified with hydrophilic properties. The various exemplary embodiments of the present invention include a method to modify the surface of synthetic turf infill through coating, crosslinking or other methods. The surface of the infill is modified to become substantially hydrophilic with low contact angles. The present invention also provides a process for producing surfaces with hydrophilic properties.
Play apparatus for developing balance and coordination
A play structure for an indoor or outdoor playground is disclosed. The play structure comprises an inner molded unit made of poured-in-place (PIP) rubber subsurface. The PIP rubber subsurface is poured with a mixture of rubber buffing and urethane configured to deliver improved safety, playability, and reduced maintenance requirement. The play structure further comprises a synthetic outer layer adhered to an outer surface of the inner molded unit. The outer layer adheres to the outer surface of the inner molded unit using an adhesive layer. The play structure further comprises a flat bottom surface configured to mount over the playground system and a top surface with different angles. A set of play structures are shaped and arranged on the play surface to develop core strength, balance, and coordination in toddlers by walking, jumping, and climbing on them. Further, the play structure is provided in different design configurations.

Mobile fitness training and testing device
A mobile fitness training and testing device (MFD) may permit a rapid deployment of an exercise area The MFD may include a lane that is temporarily encapsulated within a containment unit during storage. During use, a team of users may grasp at least one handle of the containment unit and transport the MFD to a desired training location. The lane may be secured to a surface via a plurality of anchors. One or more lanes may be coupled vertically and/or horizontally to increase a size of the testing environment.
Permeable Paving System
A method for forming a permeable pavement system includes installing a plurality of preformed paving blocks to form a paving surface. Each of the preformed paving blocks includes an upper surface, a lower surface generally parallel to and spaced apart from the upper surface, and a pair of parallel ducts extending horizontally through the block between the upper surface and the lower surface. After forming the paving surface, the method further includes inserting a transmission device through at least one of the parallel ducts of each paving block of the plurality of preformed paving blocks. Finally, the method includes using a controlling device to control the transmission device such that the temperature of the plurality of preformed paving blocks is automatically maintained at a predetermined range, wherein the controlling device selectively adjusts one of electrical current through the transmission device or circulation of a fluid through the transmission device.
