High impact joint and crack fillers
A joint and crack filler composition may include a rubber aggregate and a binder made of a resin and a hardener. The rubber aggregate may be made from recycled tire rubber and may include a tri-blend of large shreds, small shreds, and fine pieces. The resin may be an epoxy, such as a semi-rigid liquid epoxy or a semi-rigid thixotropic epoxy.

A walk-behind apparatus and method for cutting non-linear trenches in concrete includes a frame supported by fixed direction wheels at a front end on a fixed axis of rotation, and multi-directional wheels at a rear end to rotate on movable axes of rotation, to permit the frame to rotate about a vertical axis passing through the frame. A handle is engageable by a user walking behind the frame for pushing the apparatus forward and/or for steering. A cutting wheel has a diameter of 5-20 inches and a cutting portion having a width of 0.5-1.5 inches. The cutting rotates on an axis parallel to the fixed axis and which extends notionally through the fixed direction wheels. The cutting wheel is disposed within a protective shroud viewable by the user to permit the user to visually align and guide the cutting wheel along a non-linear path on the ground while steering.
COMBINATION DOOR/PLATFORM FOR MAINTENANCE ACCESS FOR CONVEYOR OF MATERIAL TRANSFER VEHICLE
A material transfer vehicle includes a material receiving device that is adapted to receive asphalt paving material, and a receiving conveyor that is operatively attached to the material receiving device. The receiving conveyor is driven by a chain drive assembly and includes a chain tension adjustment assembly. The receiving conveyor is pivotable about a substantially horizontal axis so that it can be moved between a transport configuration in which the material receiving device is raised, an intermediate adjustment configuration, and a working configuration in which the material receiving device is lowered. A housing structure encloses protected components and includes an opening adjacent to the protected components. A combination door and platform is attached to the housing structure and is adapted to be moved between a closed configuration that covers the opening and an open configuration that provides access to the protected components, and also provides a platform on which an operator can stand to access the chain tension adjustment assembly.

A hot-applied thermoplastic pavement marking composition comprising a modified polyamide resin in the range of between 3 and 10 percent by weight, rosin-modified esters, a copolymer, 30-70 percent by weight of a glass bead intermix, a range of between 1 and 15 percent by weight of either white or yellow pigment, and one or more plasticizers, inorganic fillers, waxes, antioxidants or light stabilizers, and methods of applying a hot-applied thermoplastic pavement marking composition.

A surface-mounted fiber segment includes at least one bare optical fiber glass segment disposed onto a receiving surface, and an adhesive material applied to the at least one bare optical fiber glass segment. The adhesive material substantially encapsulates the at least one bare optical fiber glass segment and adheres the at least one bare optical fiber glass segment onto the receiving surface.
