A construction machine in the form of a road paver or feeder vehicle includes a chassis and a hopper, wherein at least one lighting arrangement is mounted on the chassis. The lighting arrangement comprises at least one light source, and the lighting arrangement is configured to illuminate an area in front of the construction machine in the direction of travel. The construction machine further has an object detection system for detecting an object located in front of the construction machine in the direction of travel, and the illumination emitted by the lighting arrangement can be changed as a function of the detection of an object by means of the object detection system.

A screed assembly includes an auger, a cylinder, and a vibratory screed. The screed assembly may be included in an undercarriage. The undercarriage may be coupled to a carriage. The carriage may travel along a length of a framework. One or more sensors may be used to determine height information of the screed assembly relative to a surface to be paved. One or more actuators may be used to selectively adjust the height of the screed assembly based on the height information.
FACILITATING A SCREED ASSEMBLY IN LAYING A PAVING MATERIAL MAT WITH A UNIFORM FINISH
A control device may obtain sensing data related to a paving material mat region laid by a screed assembly of a road paver. The control device may determine, based on the sensing data, a respective texture value and/or a respective height value associated with each portion of two or more portions of the paving material mat region. The control device may determine, based on the respective texture values and/or the respective height values of the paving material mat region, a finish value associated with the paving material mat region. The control device may cause, based on the finish value of the paving material mat region, one or more actions to be performed.
ADJUSTMENT OF AN ACCESSORY COMPONENT OF A WORK MACHINE TO AVOID A POTENTIAL COLLISION OF AN OBSTACLE AND THE ACCESSORY COMPONENT
A control device may obtain sensing data from at least one sensing device associated with a work machine and may determine, based on the sensing data, a projected path of the work machine and a location of at least one obstacle. The control device may determine that the at least one obstacle is in a portion of the projected path of the work machine, wherein the portion of the projected path of the work machine is associated with an accessory component of the work machine. The control device may identify, based on determining that the at least one obstacle is in the portion of the projected path of the work machine, a potential collision of the at least one obstacle and the accessory component of the work machine and may cause the accessory component to adjust from a first position to a second position to avoid the potential collision.
ROAD FINISHING MACHINE WITH INDIRECT LIGHTING OF A WORKING AREA
A road finishing machine comprises a tractor and a screed hinged to the tractor to be towed behind the tractor. At the tractor, a main control platform of the road finishing machine is provided which offers space for an operator and comprises operational controls for controlling functions of the road finishing machine. The main control platform has a roof, wherein a lighting unit with a light source is provided at the roof. The lighting unit comprises a housing which accommodates the light source and has a reflector. The reflector is configured to reflect light emitted by the light source into a working area of the screed so that the working area of the screed is illuminated indirectly.

The disclosure refers to a road paver fur producing a paving layer, comprising a chassis and height-adjustably mounted paving screed for compacting a paving material, wherein the paving screed has at least one external control station with a control device comprising at least one control device for setting process parameters and at least one display for displaying process parameters. The road paver further comprises a projector which is adapted to project at least one of the process parameters set on the operating panel and/or displayed on the display onto at least one projection area so that the projected process parameter is visible, in particular for an operator of the paving screed. The disclosure also refers to a method for projecting a process parameter by means of a projector of a road paver.
Roadbuilding machine and method for operating a roadbuilding machine
A method for operating a roadbuilding machine and a roadbuilding machine, in which the health risks to the operator during operation are reduced without the paving quality of the roadbuilding material being reduced in the process. This is achieved by way of an undercarriage and/or at least one further component or, respectively, working component of the roadbuilding machine being remotely controlled by an operator, who is located outside the roadbuilding machine, via a transmitting module. In order to operate a roadbuilding machine, an operator is tied to the roadbuilding machine and therefore exposed to harmful fumes. In addition, the flexibility of the operator is reduced as a result.
