COUPLING MODULE FOR FORMING AN INTERFACE BETWEEN THE CABIN OF A PASSENGER BRIDGE AND AN AIRPLANE
A coupling module forms an interface between a cabin of a passenger bridge and an aircraft. The coupling module has a projecting roof and a floor arrangement overspanned by the projecting roof. The floor arrangement is pivotable about a horizontal pivot axis relative to the cabin. At least the floor arrangement and the projecting roof have a common pivot axis that is arranged in or beneath the floor arrangement, with the floor arrangement at least indirectly and substantially supporting the projecting roof.
Height adjustment device for rotunda of boarding bridge
A height adjustment device for a rotunda can comprise: an outer column which fixes a rotunda and ascends and descends; an inner column which is connected to the outer column; a vertical screw which is placed on the lower end of the rotunda; a nut which is interlocked in correspondence to the outside diameter of the vertical screw; and rails which are provided on one side of the outer column or the inner column and are formed in correspondence to each other so as to assist the ascent and descent of the outer column.

Microbridges for regional aircraft and methods of using same
An aircraft boarding apparatus has a passenger bridge that has a confinement structure coupled to a second passenger bridge. The confinement structure exerts a ground-anchoring effect on the second passenger bridge to offset the ultralight configuration of the passenger bridge.
Rainwater receiver of movable boarding bridge
A rainwater receiver of a movable boarding bridge may comprise rainwater receivers provided at: an outer tunnel; an inner tunnel disposed inside the outer tunnel; an inner tunnel footpath equipped in the inner tunnel and configured in the form of a footpath so that passengers can walk thereon; an outer tunnel footpath disposed at the lower end of the inner tunnel footpath and configured in a multilayer form; and the lower end of the outer tunnel footpath. A tunnel path part of the movable boarding bridge configured as above is positioned to be separated from the rainwater receivers so that the rainwater receivers are not seen by passengers inside a tunnel. In addition, since there is no height difference caused by the rainwater receivers, there is an advantage in that problems such as passengers' sprained ankles can be resolved.

MODULAR BRIDGE, A BRIDGE MODULE FOR A MODULAR BRIDGE, AND METHODS FOR ASSEMBLY
A modular bridge is formed from a plurality of bridge modules (4), the bridge (2) having a longitudinal direction along the spanning direction and including: a first longitudinal compression member (11,13, 70) that is, in use, at an upper part of the bridge cross-section; a second longitudinal compression member (9, 72) that is, in use, at a lower part of the bridge cross-section; a structural lateral element (9) for forming a deck of the bridge or for supporting deck elements of the bridge; a shear element (14, 16) for carrying a shear load; and a tension member (6) applying a compressive force to one of the longitudinal compression members (1,13, 70); (9, 72) such that when in use the other of the longitudinal compression members (1,13, 70); (9, 72) forms a main compression element for the bridge (2) and the tension member (6) forms a main tension element for the bridge (2). The bridge modules (4) form segments of the length of the bridge (2) and each bridge module (4) is of a one-piece construction, this single piece including: a segment (10, 12) of the first longitudinal (1) compression member of the bridge; a segment (8) of the second longitudinal compression member of the bridge; a segment (8) of the structural lateral element; and a segment (14, 16) of the shear element; and the bridge modules being arranged to support a portion of the tension member (6).
Boardwalk and Sidewalk System With Dual Use As Flood Control Barrier
A walkway including: a foundation base at least partially embedded in ground adjacent to a body of water; first and second supports, at least the first support being connected to the foundation base; a plank having a surface for use by pedestrians to travel along a shoreline, the plank having a first end rotatably connected to the first support and having a second end supported on the second support, the surface being exposed for use by the pedestrians when the plank is in a first position where the second end is supported by the second support, the plank having a length between the first and second supports; and a lifting mechanism operatively connected to the plank to rotate the plank from the first position to a second position where the length of the plank is oriented in a first direction to impede a rising height of the body of water.
Passenger bridges for connection to a door in the side of a ship
A movable passenger bridge to embark and disembark passenger to/from a ship is provided. The passenger bridge is movable and includes one or several telescopic sections, where the passenger bridge is arranged to connect to an opening in the hull of the ship. The section of the passenger bridge that is arranged closest to the ship has the largest cross section area. The passenger bridge is arranged so that the passengers can walk through the sections of the passenger bridge to a connection section, in the shape of a cabin, arranged to be connected to the mentioned opening in the hull of the ship or to an opening in the rail at deck of the ship. The passenger bridge is supported by a stand which is movable on the port quay, and that the passenger bridge is height-adjustable by means of the stand.
Device for slanting floors in passenger bridges
Device at inclined floors in passenger bridges for connection between a terminal building and a ship or an aircraft, includes two or more consecutive walking tunnels adjustable to be inclined in relation to the horizontal plane, and which include horizontal resting planes, wherein the floor of the walking tunnel extends out from a floor portion constituting the resting plane in opposite directions from the resting plane. A first short end of the respective floor of the walking tunnel is pivotally fixed to the floor portion, constituting the resting plane, the other short end of the respective floor rests on a sliding or rolling surface arranged so that the floor can move lengthwise relative to the sliding or rolling surface. The floor portion forming the resting plane is arranged to be pivoted about a horizontal axis via an electric actuator or hydraulic cylinder, whereby the resting planes assume a horizontal position.
