DOUBLE-SIDED NOISE BARRIER SUITABLE FOR GROUND RUN-UP ENCLOSURES
The present invention falls within the scope of soundproofing structures for aircrafts, disclosing a double-sided noise barrier suitable for ground run-up enclosures. Therefore, it is proposed a support structure formed by two side surfaces, each side surface having sound insulating plates mounted thereon, providing a 360° soundproofing space around it. By means of the technical advantageous provided with the use of a double-sided noise barrier, the present invention discloses GRE structures which incorporates such barrier, that enable optimization of space in the assembly of a set of individual GREs.

The stiffener member may include a bight member having opposing ends; a pair of arm members respectively extending from one of the opposing ends of the bight member to provide a substantially U-shaped configuration; and a flange member extending from each of the pair of arm members. The flange member may extend inwardly to abut one of the pair of inner walls of the groove formation when the stiffener member is received within the hollow elongate panel.
Sound wall and method of constructing the same
A sound wall and a method of constructing the sound wall. The sound wall includes a pair of laterally spaced posts, at least one of the pair of posts including: an elongate central member, a flange extending form the elongate central member in a direction substantially normal to the elongate central member, and a fin extending from the central member. The central member, the flange, and the fin may define a cavity for receiving elongate panels. The sound wall may include a plurality of elongate panels extending between the laterally spaced posts and stacked in an elongate direction of the elongate central member. End regions of the respective elongate panels may be retained between the flange and the fin. The sound wall may include an elongate stiffener member positioned within at least one of the plurality of elongate panels.

ANTI-NOISE FACILITY FOR TRACKED TRANSPORT ROAD AND TRACKED TRANSPORT ROAD PROVIDED WITH SUCH A FACILITY
The invention relates to anti-noise installation for a guided transport track having a U-shaped cross section, the two branches of which form the lateral walls (15, 16) of the track and the central zone of which, connecting the two branches, forms at least one runway (18) for a guided transport vehicle (50), characterised in that said installation comprises a plurality of acoustic panels (30, 31, 34, 35, 38, 39) arranged relative to one another so as to form at least one chamber (20) for confining the noise resulting from the passage of a vehicle (50) over at least one runway (18), which chamber can be provided around said noise source while extending as far as a free end of at least one branch of the U, each panel (30, 31, 34, 35, 38, 39) forming at least one portion of a partition of a noise-confinement chamber (20).
FULLY ADJUSTABLE SUSPENDED POST AND PANEL MODULES AND INSTALLATION METHODS
A wall module for a modular wall structure integrates a wall panel portion with a post portion having bottom extensions and at least one groove for receiving a distal end portion of a wall panel portion of an adjacent module. The bottom post extension may be suspended in a post hole and anchored with a material such as concrete.
WALL ELEMENT
The application relates to a wall element for a noise protection wall, wherein: the wall element has a body and at least one outer face; the body has a support towards the at least one outer face; at least one solar panel is arranged on the support and is connected to the body; the solar panel is inclined relative to a vertical in the direction of an upper face of the wall element; the body has on the at least one outer face at least one sound absorption surface which can be directly reached by incoming sound; the sound absorption surface is inclined at least in some sections relative to the vertical and/or relative to a longitudinal direction of the wall element; the area of the sound absorption surface is at least equal to the area of a visible face of the wall element.
Apparatus and method for controlling airborne pollution
An apparatus for controlling airborne pollution comprises a leeward wall located near a polluted region, and a windward wall located between the leeward wall and the polluted region. The leeward wall and the windward wall are spaced apart so as to define an airflow passageway therebetween. The windward wall extends upwardly to a first wall height. The leeward wall includes an upper portion extending above the first wall height. The upper portion is adapted to direct airflow downward through the airflow passageway towards at least one opening located below the first wall height for exhausting the airflow from the airflow passageway.
Sound-absorbing construction component having extinguishing profiles and sound protection wall
The invention relates to a sound-absorbing construction component, which is suitable inter alia for use outdoors. The construction element comprises a sound-absorbing absorber layer having a sound entry surface and a plurality of extinguishing profiles fully enclosed in the absorber layer and arranged at a distance from one another. The extinguishing profile consists of a sound-reflecting material and has a profile inner space, which has one open side facing away from the sound entry surface. The extinguishing profile preferably comprises at least one inlet surface having numerous sound inlet openings and at least one closed reflection surface connecting to the inlet surface, wherein the reflection surface and the open side of the extinguishing profile are at a greater distance from the sound entry surface than the inlet surface.
