WEDGE-WELDABLE MANUFACTURED COMPOSITE HAVING SYNTHETIC VEGETATION AND IMPERMEABLE GEOMEMBRANE
A manufactured composite comprising synthetic turf and impermeable geomembrane is used in a single-layer capping system as the single layer to provide permanent, impermeable and functional aesthetic cover for a job site. During installation of composite pieces at a job site, an edge portion of a tufted section of a second composite piece is overlaid onto an edge untufted section of the first composite piece already laid and anchored over foundation soil to form a reinforced overlapping seam, through which the two composite pieces are physically and permanently joined together. As composite pieces are joined together, the continuity of synthetic grass and the continuity of impermeability are extended and realized over the entire site to form permanent, impermeable and functional aesthetic cover for a job site.
Foundation structure for building, and construction method therefor
A building foundation structure includes a ground improved body obtained by improving a surface layer ground, and foundation concrete placed on the ground improved body. A bottom surface of a foundation concrete located below a building pillar has a four-or-more-sided polygonal shape smaller than the plan shape of the foundation concrete, and a part of the lower surface of the foundation concrete other than the bottom surface is a slope surface connecting the bottom surface and the plan shape. Since the stress from the foundation is transferred to the lower ground in its broader range, the stress transferred to the lower ground can be reduced. In addition, since the placing amount of the foundation concrete is reduced, the construction cost can be reduced.
Construction method for ecologically protecting expansive soil slope by combining phosphogypsum with microbial mineralization
The present invention provides a construction method for ecologically protecting an expansive soil slope by combining phosphogypsum with microbial mineralization. The method includes: (1) placing Bacillus pasteurii in a culture medium to prepare a microbial solution, and mixing urea, calcium chloride and water to prepare a cementing solution; (2) preparing a mixture with phosphogypsum fly ash and soil; mixing the mixture, the microbial solution and water well, and adding the cementing solution and water to prepare an improving mixture slurry; and (3) spraying the improving mixture slurry to a face of the slope by wet spraying, and covering with a non-woven fabric by tying and fixing.
Fiber elements for soil stabilization
The fiber elements for soil stabilization include a combination of rigid and flexible fibers that are adapted to be added to soil in order to stabilize the soil to improve the geotechnical characteristics thereof. Each fiber element includes a rigid fiber having opposed first and second ends, at least the first end defining a first ring. A plurality of flexible fibers are attached to the first ring. When mixed with soil, the rigid fibers provide stiffness to the soil mass, and the flexible fibers provide deformability. For purposes of packaging, prior to addition to soil, the plurality of flexible fibers may be at least partially secured to one another by a water soluble material, such as a water soluble glue, water soluble thread or the like. A plurality of the fiber elements may be secured to one another by the water soluble material, forming a fiber module.
MULTI-FUNCTION RETAINING STRUCTURE AND IMPLEMENTATION METHOD THEREOF
A multi-function retaining structure for excavation and drainage operations during construction process and a method for excavation and implementation of a multi-function retaining structure at a target location. The multi-function retaining structure includes a first I-beam, a second I-beam, a third I-beam, a first inclined stiffener plate, and a second inclined stiffener plate. The method includes positioning the multi-function retaining structure above the target location, driving the multi-function retaining structure into the target location by pushing the bottom edge of the third web into the target location, softening soils in the target location by jetting water to the soils utilizing a first water jet tube and a second water jet tube, extracting the first water jet tube and the second water jet tube from the rectangular chamber, and draining water from the rectangular chamber by utilizing a water drainage pump and through a drainage tube.

Building Foundation and Soil Stabilization method and System
System and means soil stabilization and moisture control for building foundations including methods and systems for stabilization moisture in a site for building foundation by applying soil moisture stabilization material in various forms, a preferred stabilization material being a mixture of aluninosilicate Pozzolan mineral and granular material such as sand.
Cementitious composite mat
A cementitious composite for in-situ hydration includes a structure layer having a first side and an opposing second side, a cementitious material disposed within the structure layer, a sealing layer disposed along and coupled to the first side of the structure layer, and a containment layer disposed along the opposing second side of the structure layer. The structure layer has an intersection at the sealing layer and the containment layer that is at least partially fiberless. The cementitious material includes a plurality of cementitious particles. The containment layer is configured to prevent the plurality of cementitious particles from migrating out of the structure layer.
