A construction machine for special civil engineering has a leader on which an advancing carriage is guided, which carriage has a holder for a work device, in particular a drilling rig or pile-driving implement, and which can be moved along the leader by way of a first advancing cable (upper cable) and a second advancing cable (lower cable), by way of a drive winch or a drive cylinder, wherein the advancing carriage is connected with the advancing cables and wherein at least one of the advancing cables is attached to a fixed point on the leader and/or the advancing carriage, wherein at least one fixed point is formed by a cable tensioner attached to the leader or the advancing carriage. At least one cable tensioner includes a tensioning drum on which an end-side section of an advancing cable is attached with multiple cable windings.
DEVICE FOR CENTRIFUGE TESTING OF DRIVEN PILE IN DIFFERENT INSTALLATION AND PULL-OUT MODES AND OPERATION METHOD THEREFOR
The present disclosure discloses a device for centrifuge testing of a driven pile in different installation and pull-out modes, including a supporting system, a pile driving system, a pile-soil system and a measurement and acquisition system. The present disclosure further provides a method for operating the device for centrifuge testing of a driven pile in different installation and pull-out modes. The present disclosure can perform geotechnical centrifuge testing of a driven pile through penetration in different installation modes and pull-out in different pull-out modes, and provide the effective test device and method for study of a pile-soil mutual dynamic response during a whole process of penetration and a process of pull-out of the driven pile. Moreover, pile-soil deformation characteristics and the like during the processes of penetration and pull-out can be visually observed through a high-speed camera or a digital camera, and the pull-out and penetration can be tested separately.

Pile lifting apparatus and method
An apparatus for lifting and supporting a pile is provided. The apparatus includes a support structure coupled to the pile and a lifting device coupled to the support structure. Gripping plates of a lift head engage and lift the pile during extension of the lifting device. During retraction of the lifting device, gripping plates of a gravity vice engage the pile to support the pile in the lifted position. The extension and retraction of the lifting device is alternately repeated to lift the pile in steps to a desired height.
Pile lifting apparatus and method
An apparatus for lifting and supporting a pile is provided. The apparatus includes a support structure coupled to the pile and a lifting device coupled to the support structure. Gripping plates of a lift head engage and lift the pile during extension of the lifting device. During retraction of the lifting device, gripping plates of a gravity vice engage the pile to support the pile in the lifted position. The extension and retraction of the lifting device is alternately repeated to lift the pile in steps to a desired height.

Construction equipment is provided that can include: a transport assembly operably supporting a platform, the platform having a leading edge opposing a rearward edge, the leading edge associated with a first direction of the transport assembly, and the rearward edge associated with a second direction of the transportation assembly; an operator cab above the platform and aligned closer to the leading edge than the rearward edge; an engine above the platform and aligned closer to the rearward edge than the leading edge; and a boom pivotably attached above the platform closer to the rearward edge than the leading edge, the boom being movable between a first position fully extended and a second position fully raised. Utility line pole placement and/or removal construction methods are provided that can include extending an extension assembly having a banana boom from a transport assembly to couple with a utility line pole.
Construction equipment and methods

Auger grouted displacement pile
A method and apparatus place an auger grouted displacement pile or helical pile in soil. The pile has an elongated shaft with at least one lateral compaction protrusion which establishes a regular circumference in the supporting medium. The pile also has a helical blade configured to move the pile into the supporting medium. The bottom of the shaft includes means for forming irregularities in the circumference after compaction by the lateral compaction protrusion. The bore is filled with grout while leaving the pile in the soil.
Auger grouted displacement pile
A method and apparatus place an auger grouted displacement pile or helical pile in soil. The pile has an elongated shaft with at least one lateral compaction protrusion which establishes a regular circumference in the supporting medium. The pile also has a helical blade configured to move the pile into the supporting medium. The bottom of the shaft includes means for forming irregularities in the circumference after compaction by the lateral compaction protrusion. The bore is filled with grout while leaving the pile in the soil.
