THERMAL-BREAK ASSEMBLY
A thermal-break assembly including a thermal-insulation block configured to be installed between a first floor section and a second floor section. A weight-receiving device is configured to receive the thermal-insulation block. Spaced-apart reinforcing bars extend through, and beyond, the thermal-insulation block; this is done in such a way that the spaced-apart reinforcing bars, in use, extend into the first floor section and into the second floor section (once the thermal-insulation block is installed therebetween). The spaced-apart reinforcing bars are in intimate contact with the weight-receiving device.
Civil engineering anti-seismic structure
A civil engineering anti-seismic structure includes a base. A fixing structure is fixedly welded at the bottom center of the base. A through-hole is provided at the top center of the base. Sliding grooves are provided on corresponding inner walls at two sides of the base. Sliding blocks are slidably connected to the sliding grooves inside the grooves and are symmetrically installed at two sides of a sliding plate. A top block is fixedly welded at the top center of the sliding plate (8), and a fixing groove is provided at the top center of the top block. A shock-absorbing damping pad is fixedly adhered to a bottom inner wall of the base. A first limiting plate is fixedly welded around the top portion of the sliding plate, and a second limiting plate is fixedly welded around the through-hole at a top inner wall of the base.
Resin composition and applications thereof
A resin composition contains an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) in which an ethylene unit content is from 10 to 60 mol %, a hindered amine-based compound (B) having a 2,2,6,6-tetraalkylpiperidine ring structure and having an alkoxy group bonded to a nitrogen atom in the structure, and a hindered phenol-based compound (C) having an ester bond or an amide bond. The resin composition contains 0.1 to 5 parts by mass of the hindered amine-based compound (B) and 0.2 to 5 parts by mass of the hindered phenol-based compound (C) with respect to 100 parts by mass of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A), and a mass ratio (C)/(B) is from 0.2 to 3.6.
MOUNTING DEVICE FOR INSULATION HOLDERS
Mounting device for inserting insulation holders into insulation material, where the mounting device comprises a drive head adapted to drive the insulation holder through a central opening of the head portion of the mounting device, where the central opening is provided with a threaded portion, where the lead pitch of the threaded portion is at least 30 millimetres. The advantage of the invention is that insulation holders can be inserted into insulation material in an easy and cost-effective way. An insulation holder can be driven completely through the central opening since the insulation holder does not have a protruding head. The insulation holder is provided with a thread corresponding to the thread of the central opening, such that the insulation holder is screwed into the insulation material.

Membrane-lined wall
A membrane-lined wall for levee reinforcement or leak prevention, prevention of water migration, and pollution control of impoundments. The membrane-lined wall generally includes a cementitious or concrete wall formed within an excavated trench. The concrete may be internally reinforced, and the wall may also comprise a double-layer of impermeable geomembrane liner that forms a barrier between the concrete and the sides and bottom of the trench. The membrane or liner reduces water migration, prevents levee leakage, and prevents the escape of contaminants in impoundments.
BELOW GRADE, BLIND SIDE, WATERPROOFING SHEET MEMBRANE WITH ADHESIVE AND LOW REFLECTIVITY GRANULAR PARTICLE LAYER TO FULLY BOND TO CONCRETE/SHOTCRETE, AND A METHOD OF MAKING, AND USING SAME
The present invention relates generally to a below grade, blind side, waterproofing sheet membrane with adhesive and low reflectivity granular particle layer to fully bond to concrete/shotcrete, and a method of making, and using same. More particularly, the invention encompasses a below grade, blind side, waterproofing sheet membrane with adhesive, and having at least one layer of low reflectivity granular particle layer that are fully or partly embedded into the adhesive layer, and where the average reflectivity of the exposed granular particles is below about 50 percent reflectivity on a standard reflectivity scale. The inventive waterproofing layer having the waterproofing sheet membrane, and an adhesive layer having embedded therein low reflectivity granular particles can be used in any building or wall construction, and can be placed under or around a foundation of a building or dwelling or on its below grade blind side retaining walls, etc.
Water basin construction method
The present invention relates to a new construction method to build water basin bodies of water that can be used for recreational activities such as surfing, wake boarding, body boarding, water skiing, kayaking, canoeing, river surfing, lazy rivers, tubing rivers, swimming, scuba and other recreational water activities. The present invention construction method can be used in water basins, pools, lagoons, ponds, lakes, surf lakes, surf pools, reservoirs, bodies of water and rivers.
Systems and Methods for Flood Prevention
A comprehensive dry flood proofing solution to mitigate inland flooding risk for existing or new homes and small buildings. This family of integrated systems of the present disclosure each leverage the building's structure to offer practical and affordable flood protection for those buildings constructed with slab-on-grade foundations. This family of solutions includes pluggable weep holes, entry door/garage door/window protectors, wall appurtenances and penetration protection, house wrap and debris barrier system for wall protection and sewage anti-backflow protection. The components of the solution are reusable, easy to deploy, and do not detract from the building's permanent appearance. Furthermore, the solution allows for ingress/egress during flood events and can protect the building from standing water incursion up to 24 above slab elevation. The pre-flood design and preparation, the deployment immediately preceding flooding event and the subsequent removal after flooding event has passed is provided by both contractors and homeowners.
CEMENTITIOUS COMPOSITE MAT
A cementitious composite for in-situ hydration includes a first layer, a second layer, a cementitious mixture including cementitious material positioned between the first layer and the second layer, and a structure layer positioned between the first layer and the second layer. The cementitious mixture comprises a majority of a volume between the first layer and the second layer.
