Composite joist floor system
Embodiments of the present invention provide systems for connecting a flooring system to a vertical wall. In one embodiment the building structure includes a floor comprising a cementitious slab and a wall supporting at least a portion of the cementitious slab. A plurality of stand-off fasteners extend from the top of the wall into the cementitious slab and are configured to transfer forces between the cementitious slab and the wall. The stand-off fasteners comprise a lower portion and an upper stand-off portion. The lower portion is operatively coupled to the top of the wall, and the upper stand-off portion extends above the top of the wall and is encapsulated within the cementitious slab. In some embodiments, at least a portion of the lower portion is heat treated to a higher degree of hardness relative to the remainder of the stand-off screw.
ARCHED BUILDING STRUCTURE, MODULAR BUILDING BLOCKS, AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING AN ARCHED BUILDING STRUCTURE
An arched building structure is provided having a foundation, an arch roof, a front wall, and a back wall. The arch roof is assembled from a rows of arches assembled from plurality of modular blocks. The rows of arches are interlocked with each other. The modular blocks include interlocking shapes and a fastening system.

Modular interior partition for a structural frame building
An occupiable building and a method for constructing an occupiable space in a structural frame building are disclosed. In an embodiment, an occupiable building includes a structural frame defining a footprint of the occupiable building, at least one lower deck structure located within the footprint of the structural frame and supported by the structural frame, at least one upper deck structure located within the footprint of the structural frame and supported by the structural frame, and an interior partition system installed between the lower deck structure and the upper deck structure to define an occupiable space, the occupiable space having a ceiling. The interior partition system includes first king post assemblies, a lower panel, and an upper panel. The lower panel is fastened to the king post assemblies and to the upper panel. The upper panel is fastened to the king post assemblies and to upper panel.
Building system and panel for a building system
A building system comprising a plurality of tubes, a plurality of connection nodes comprising tubular sections for connection to the tubes, wherein the tubes are arranged to connect between the connection nodes to form a frame for a building, wherein at least one continuous cavity is formed through at least a portion of the nodes and tubes when the nodes and tubes are connected, the building system further comprising fluid tight seals between the tubes and connection nodes to enable fluid to flow through the at least one continuous cavity.
Floor covering
A floor covering includes: a surface layer having a plurality of conductive segments capable of being supplied with electrical power; an at least partially electrically insulating intermediate layer having a plurality of through-recesses distributed in a substantially regular manner so that the mean distance between a recess and the recess closest thereto is between approximately 5 and 20 cm; a base layer having a plurality of electrical contacts, of which at least some correspond to the recesses of the surface layer and are connected to an electronic controller; the surface, intermediate and base layers being superimposed in this order and positioned so that at least some of the conductive segments are arranged at least partially opposite a recess of the intermediate layer, and so that these conductive segments react to a pressure by approaching the electrical contacts which correspond to the base layer.
