Inverted roofing system and method

The present invention provides an inverted roofing system and method that is more thermally efficient, inexpensive and quicker to install, better able to withstand environmental conditions, and produces the appearance and some functional benefits of a traditional natural green roof ballast top-layer. It does not require a sloped roof gradient, and is capable of a user controlled mass per square foot roof load. The inverted roofing system and method provides a ballast top-layer that is lightweight, and maintains properties that will prevent wind uplift.

A waterproof connecting structure is used in coordination with a solar panel array in order to construct a vertical wall or a rooftop panel of a building. The waterproof connecting structure comprises two half components and a connecting component. The two half components are disposed between the two solar panels. The connecting component covers a joint between the two half components so that rainwater flowed into a conduit passage formed by each of the half components is guided out. Thereby, the rainwater is prevented from infiltrating into a building.

Set comprising a device for slope compensation of a construction surface and a fixing foot having a gripping member, which device comprises a first and second slope compensation element mounted as to rotate with respect to each other, each element presents a range having a predetermined number of positions where each position corresponds to a slope compensation value, the first and second element comprising a first, respectively a second, series of windows applied each time on each of the elements, the windows of said first and second series of windows being arranged such that for each of the positions, where slope compensation value of the first and second slope compensation element corresponds, at least one of the windows of each of the slope compensation elements being positioned such as to be opposite to each other, the windows when positioned opposite to each other serve to engage the gripping member.

Modular water retaining tiles and green blue roof structures containing an assembly of such tiles

Water containment modules for green and blue roof installations are disclosed. The modules include a water retaining module having a porous scaffold filled with a flexible hydrophilic foam, and a bottommost drainage layer having supports that define channels through which a fluid can flow away from the module. The module in some embodiment further includes an uppermost porous horticultural growth media layer that including a particulate filler embedded in a porous hydrophilic polymer foam.

ROOF SYSTEM

A roof system is provided. The roof system includes a roof body capable of forming a flat roof or a corrugated roof, where the roof body is provided on a roof pillar; a gutter system is provided at a valley position of the corrugated roof or on the flat roof; a skylight system is further provided at a pitched roof or a ridge of the corrugated roof or on the flat roof; and a pressure relief adjustment component is provided on the skylight system. According to the roof system, a plurality of roof modules are assembled into the roof body. Two adjacent ones of the roof modules are fixed by a connecting plate and a self-locking component when assembled. A plurality of reinforcing points work cooperatively, so the roof system achieves a high utilization rate, and ensures the overall stability and bearing capacity of the roof.
