ROOFING ASSEMBLY, MODULAR ROOFING SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF ROOFING
A roofing assembly, comprising: a membrane; a plurality of cords, attached in a spaced-apart configuration to the flexible membrane and extending in a first direction; a plurality of battens, attached in a spaced-apart configuration to the plurality of cords and extending in a second direction that is orthogonal or substantially orthogonal to the first direction, each of the battens being attached to at least one of the plurality of cords; wherein a first set of the battens is offset at least one end in the second direction from a second set of the battens.
ICE BACKING FLASHING SYSTEM
An ice backing flashing layer for a roof including an upper portion attachable to an upper surface of the roof, a lower portion attachable to a fascia portion of the roof, and a bend between the upper and lower portions attachable over an edge of the roof. A roofing system including a first underlayment layer and the ice backing flashing layer adjacent to and above the first underlayment layer. The roof system optionally including at least one of a second underlayment layer adjacent to and above the upper portion of the ice backing flashing layer, a drip edge layer adjacent to and above the second underlayment layer, or a third underlayment layer adjacent to and above the drip edge.
Rolled Roof Standing Seam System and Method of Construction
The present disclosure relates generally to roofing structures, for example, suitable for covering houses and other structures. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a roofing structure including a decking layer, a base layer, a cap layer, and a plurality of rails disposed over the cap layer. The base layer includes a plurality of strips that form seams including a first base layer seam. The cap layer also includes a plurality of strips that form seams including a first cap layer seam that is spaced from the first base layer seam. The rails include a first rail that is aligned with the first base layer seam and a second rail that is aligned with the first cap layer seam.
INSULATION ELEMENT FOR THERMAL AND/OR ACOUSTIC INSULATION OF A FLAT OR FLAT INCLINED ROOF AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN INSULATION ELEMENT
Insulation element for thermal and/or acoustic insulation of a flat roof, comprising a first layer made of mineral wool and a second layer made of at least one fabric, whereby the second layer is fixed to a major surface of the first layer by an adhesive, whereby the first layer is made of at least one lamella having a fiber orientation predominantly perpendicular to major surfaces of the second layer, whereby the first layer contains a cured binder whereby the adhesive is arranged partly in an area between fibers close to the major surface of the first layer directed to the second layer and in an area close to the major surface of the second layer directed to the first layer so that the adhesive connects the first layer and the second layer in such a way that forces directed perpendicular to the second layer can be compensated by the tensile strength of the second layer in combination with the adhesive and/or the deflection of the fibers of the first layer causing a maximum deformation of ≤5% of the thickness of the first and second layer.
Fire protected building structures and methods for fire protecting building structures
A building structure includes a mineral fibrous sheet material having a Temperature Index measured according to ISO 4589-3:2017 of 400° C. or higher, wherein the sheet material has a thickness of at most 1 mm, and wherein mineral fibers forming the sheet material are coated with a coating adapted for retarding fire.
PANEL FOR SHEATHING SYSTEM AND METHOD
The panel includes a water resistant barrier layer secured atop its outward facing surface. The water resistant barrier layer includes a skid resistant surface. The panels are made of lignocellulosic material. The water resistant and skid resistant surface may include indicia for aligning strips of tape or for aligning fasteners. A method for manufacturing the water resistant building panels is also disclosed and includes the steps of feeding paper onto a forming belt, depositing lignocellulosic material and the binding agent onto the forming belt so as to form a lignocellulosic mat, applying heat and pressure so as to impart the skid resistant surface on the paper, and cutting panels to predetermined sizes.

Construction underlayment
Rigid foam-core construction underlayment is formed to have one broad side covered by a flexible substrate that carries a series of spaced-apart, discrete regions (such as islands or spaced lanes) of resin, each resin region carrying a respective field of male touch fastener elements extending away from the substrate and exposed for engagement, such as by fibers on an inner surface of exterior construction material, such as a roofing membrane.
