Floor marking tape
A floor marking tape has a structure that retains the adhesive under the tape to prevent the adhesive from being squeezed out from under the tape when the tape is in use on a floor. In one embodiment, the structure is a shoulder that defines a recess that holds the bulk of the adhesive. The shoulder prevents the adhesive from flowing out to the outer edge of the tape. The tape may have beveled edges that limit the unintentional lifting and delamination of the tape from the floor. The upper surface of the tape may be curved from edge-to-edge to limit dirt retention on the tape as well as allowing objects to slide over the tape.
PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING CORK TILE
A process for applying a color pattern or design to a cork tile includes providing a release film, printing a design layer on the release film, applying a glue layer on the design layer so that the design layer is between the glue layer and the release film, and laminating the design layer and glue layer onto a cork top surface of the cork tile using a heated laminating machine, so that the glue layer and the design layer are released from the release film and form the color pattern or design on the cork top surface.
RECYCLABLE SYNTHETIC RESIN TILE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Provided are a recyclable synthetic resin tile to be laid contributing to establishment of a recycling-oriented society, and a method of manufacturing the same.
A recyclable synthetic resin tile to be laid wherein a main constituent resin includes an olefinic thermoplastic resin and/or thermoplastic elastomer, and the tile includes a base part in which a decorative layer, two or more intermediate layers, and a balance layer are laminated in this order, and a layer of the intermediate layers includes an inorganic fiber layer, and the decorative layer and the balance layer are shaped to be concave-convex.
ALCOHOL-RESISTANT, CHEMICALLY-STRIPPABLE FLOOR COATING AND COMPOSITION FOR MAKING SAME
A chemically-strippable, alcohol-resistant floor coating contains a crosslinked polymer, an alkali soluble resin, and an amine functional compound. The coating exhibits a Strippability Level of at least 40% after 300 cycles in a solvent on an abrasion machine, and an Ethanol Resistance of at least 60 percent, as measured by a 60 Gloss Retention Test. A floor coating composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of a crosslinkable polymer, an alkali soluble resin, an amine functional compound, and a crosslinker can be applied to a floor to make the coating.
MODULAR MAT
A modular mat includes a first mat assembly including two first mat modules and a first adjoining element. The first mat module includes first bottom tubes and first top tubes. The first bottom tubes are parallel and spaced apart. The first top tubes are secured to a top of the first bottom tubes and perpendicular thereto. Each first bottom tube includes a first hole. Each first top tube includes a first hole member. The first adjoining element includes an elongated first body and parallel first adjoining rods extending from both sides of the first body respectively. The first adjoining rods are inserted into the first hole members of one first mat module and the first hole members of the other first mat module respectively so that the first mat modules are configured to releasably join together by the first adjoining element. It is easy to transport the disassembled mat.
Cancer therapy system treatment beam progression and method of use thereof
The invention comprises a method and apparatus for treating a tumor with positively charged particles, comprising the steps of: (1) transporting the positively charged particles sequentially from an accelerator, along a beam transport path, through a nozzle system, and along a treatment beam path and (2) while scanning the treatment beam path along each of a set of vectors for treating the tumor, on average for the set of vectors, intentionally deviating the treatment beam path from a current vector of the set of vectors off of the current vector by at least one-eighth of a treatment beam diameter at least once for every twenty movements of the treatment beam.
Method for composing a set of floor panels
A method for composing a set of floor panels for flooring a room is based on a data set in accordance at least with the ground surface area of the room. The method includes the step of establishing a laying plan suitable for the room. The step of establishing a laying plan is carried out by means of a computer. The computer proposes a laying plan on the basis of the data set, taking into account desired limitations. The limitations are used to restrict a database of possible solutions.
Floorboard and method for manufacturing thereof
Floorboards with a surface of flexible fibers for laying a mechanically joined floating floor, and methods for manufacturing and providing floorings containing such floorboards. For example, floorboards including a surface layer and a core, for making a floating flooring, which floorboards are mechanically lockable and which along their edge portions have pairs of opposing connectors for locking similar, adjoining floorboards to each other both vertically and horizontally, wherein the surface layer comprises flexible resilient fibers.
Lifting and leveling insert for a precast concrete slab
An insert for lifting and leveling a precast concrete slab is provided. The insert includes a sleeve that extends through the concrete slab and has two distinct threaded portions on an inner surface of the sleeve. This configuration allows a lifting bolt to be positioned into an upper end of the sleeve to lift the concrete slab, and a different-sized leveling bolt to be positioned in the sleeve to selectively elevate or raise part of the concrete slab relative to a ground surface.
Permeable Floor Panel System
A permeable floor panel system that reduces the buildup of moisture within the walls surrounding a shower floor, that is an anti-slip floor surface, and that reduces the noise normally associated with the splashing of precipitate that accumulates on a shower floor. The permeable floor panel system comprises a silica gravel epoxy top layer hereinafter referred as the permeable layer, a fiberglass mesh layer immediately below the silica gravel epoxy top layer, a polyurethane foam layer immediately below the fiberglass mesh layer, wherein the polyurethane foam layer is designed to have channels that are inclined toward a drainage point, a fiberglass epoxy laminate frame that houses the polyurethane foam layer, the laminate frame defines a drainage pipe that leads to an existing drainage system.
