The present invention relates to methods and apparatus for a permanent or semi-permanent memorial container configured to be positioned in a designated location, and preferably a memorial location, such as gravesite or other memorial.

A memorial object including inner cremation contents, and a housing structure for housing the inner cremation contents, the housing structure being made of at least a first fluid, wherein the housing structure is maintainable in a predetermined solid shape only upon maintenance of the housing structure under a freezing temperature of the first fluid. Preferably the fluid is water. The invention provides a sustainable method of making a dissolvable memorial object or urn by transforming water into solid shape of ice encapsulating cremation ashes.

A funerary structure for containing funerary objects, which comprises a base framework provided with a plurality of profiled elements which are arranged along at least two directions and can be fixed to a supporting wall. The profiled elements delimit laterally at least one containment recess for funerary objects. There is at least one slab for closing the recess, which can be fixed, by virtue of fixing elements, to the base framework on the opposite side with respect to the supporting wall.

A headstone assembly suitable to be placed on a memorial includes a frame and a mounting assembly. The frame defines a cavity and has a base panel having a plurality of slots. The frame an inner surface defining a groove extending along and inner perimeter of the frame. The mounting assembly is arranged inside the cavity and is connected to the frame to facilitate an attachment of the base panel with the surface. The mounting assembly includes a bottom panel and a mounting panel extending inside the groove and attached to the frame and the bottom panel. The mounting assembly also includes a plurality of T-nuts extending through the mounting panel inside a plurality of the holes of the bottom panel. The T-nuts ate adapted to receive a plurality of mounting bolts extending from the surface to facilitate the attachment of the frame to the surface.

A digital display grave marker apparatus for seeing and hearing the deceased includes a marker body having a body front side, a body back side, a body left side, a body right side, a body top side, and a body bottom side. A display screen is coupled to the body front side. A CPU is coupled within the marker body and is in operational communication with the display screen. A wireless transceiver is coupled within the marker body and is in operational communication with the CPU to interface with personal electronic devices. A memory card is coupled within the marker body and is in operational communication with the CPU. A battery is coupled within the marker body and is in operational communication with the CPU. A method and system of affixing a plaque to a solid surface is provided. The method includes the steps of providing at least one opening in a face of the solid surface and inserting a plaque support into the at least one opening. The plaque support includes a body defining a passageway therethrough and having a first end and a second end. The first end has a flange portion. Further, at least one outer tab member extends radially outward toward the first end and at least one inner tab member extends radially inward toward the second end. The outer tab member engages the solid surface upon insertion of the plaque support into the at least one opening. The method and system further include providing the plaque with at least one installation fastener. The at least one installation fastener is inserted into the passageway of the plaque support, such that the at least one inner tab member engages the at least one installation fastener.

A flag mounting device for engaging a gravesite vase. The flag mount device is generally diamond shaped with a central opening for engaging a top of the vase. When positioned atop the vase the flag mounting device is horizontally disposed with respect to the ground. A container securing component penetrates the flag mounting device horizontally extending from a corner inward into the central opening and engages the top of the vase to secure the flag mounting device to the vase. A pair of flagpole bores partially penetrate a top of the flag mounting device and are configures to receive a pair or miniature flagpoles. Each miniature flagpole is secured within the respective flagpole bore by a flagpole securing component that extends from a side corner inward into the flagpole bore.
