System and method for monitoring an access key from a key box
Disclosed is a system for monitoring a location of a key relative to a keybox, configured to perform: (i) providing access to the key by: communicating over a personal area network with a first mobile-device for the first user as the first user approaches the keybox in an attempt to obtain the key, obtaining first credentials from the first mobile-device, determining whether the first credentials are valid or invalid, when the first credentials are valid: putting the keybox in an unlocked configuration, (ii) tracking a location of the key by: communicating over the personal area network with: the key and/or mobile-device to determine whether the key is being returned to the keybox, wherein upon a determination by the keybox or the mobile-device that the key is not being returned, an alert is provided by the mobile-device to the first user.
ELECTRONIC LOCKBOX WITH EMBEDDED INSERT
An electronic lockbox including a key bin having an embedded insert. The insert is embedded during a die cast process. The insert enhances the attack resistance of the lockbox from hammering, chiseling, and drilling attacks. The insert includes “3D features” that help with the casting process and attack resistance, including at least one through-hole, at least one slot, and at least one ridge. A housing portion is constructed over multiple drawing stages to increase its hardness and strength, thereby increasing resistance to prying attacks.
Lock system with key and auxiliary pin tumbler stack
Locking systems allow for the unlocking and locking of, e.g., doors, containers, and enclosures. Lock cylinders are coded to specific keys, and often there is a desire to have a key be able to access a subset of lock cylinders. Keys are coded using bitting to gain access to specific lock cylinders. It is with respect to these and other general considerations that embodiments have been described.
MEDIUM PROCESSING APPARATUS
The present disclosure relates to a medium processing apparatus, including: a banknote device configured to process a banknote, including a banknote device door arranged at an opening of a safe box and being movable between an open position and a closed position; a banknote device lock configured to switch the banknote device door between a locked state and an unlocked state; a loose coin device configured to process a loose coin, including a loose coin device door arranged at an opening of a safe box and being movable between an open position and a closed position; a loose coin device lock configured to switch the loose coin device door between a locked state and an unlocked state, wherein the banknote device lock and the loose coin device lock perform a switching between the locked state and the unlocked state independently from each other.
Systems and methods for creating replacement vehicle keys
The present invention generally relates to the field of replicating or copying keys. More specifically, the present invention relates to creating a copy of a master key based on a captured image of the master key. The present invention identifies a set of target key information based on the image of the master key to provide for the cutting of a duplicate key blade copy to be shipped to a user. Additional key information may also be captured along with the image of the master key.
KEY COMBINATION ELEMENT IN KEY BLANK AND KEY
A key device includes a generally elongate shaft portion that has first and second oppositely directed side surfaces, at least one of which is cuttable to form key cuts that define a key combination surface. First and second key combination elements, disposed in the elongate shaft portion, are side-by-side one another at different lateral positions along the width of the elongate shaft portion and located at overlapping longitudinal positions along the length of the elongate shaft portion. The first and second key combination elements are each pivotable about a pivot axis.
ECCENTRIC BARREL PIN ASSEMBLIES AND USES THEREOF IN A CYLINDER LOCK
The disclosure relates to a cylinder lock wherein an eccentric barrel pin assembly with two contact points within the keyway are independently movable within the barrel to a common shear line against a single nested column pin assembly.
Vehicle electronic key
A vehicle electronic key includes: a receiver for receiving a request signal transmitted from an in-vehicle device; a transmitter for transmitting a response signal responding to the request signal; a key controller that determines whether the request signal has been received and controls the transmitter to transmit the response signal based on a determination that the request signal has been received; and an acceleration sensor that detects an acceleration applied to the vehicle electronic key and sets a vibration detection flag based on a determination that a vibration equal to or greater than a threshold value has been detected according to a detected acceleration.

Self-defense key holder
Aspects of the present disclosure generally pertain to an apparatus and method for holding a key for self-defense. Aspects of the present disclosure more specifically are directed toward a self-defense key holder or an apparatus that rapidly converts a key (e.g., house key) into a fighting weapon, for example, for self-defense. The defense key holder may utilize an existing key (e.g., home/office/auto) to replace bulky and often prohibited self-defense aids. This disclosure may be useful for giving a user additional control and force in a variety of motions with a key or other object.
