LOCKOUT SYSTEM FOR ENERGY SOURCES
20180240616 · 2018-08-23 ·

A lockout system includes a hasp assembly and a plurality of tags. The hasp assembly has a back plate defining slots each sized and shaped to receive a tag. The back plate and tags each have openings that align when a tag is received in a slot. A first hasp portion on the back plate defines part of a closed loop. A longitudinal locking bar is slidable along the back plate and has notches shaped to receive ends of the tags. Moving the locking bar between an unlocked position and a locked position operates the second hasp portion between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the first and second hasp portions complete and define the closed loop, where one or more tags can be installed in slots with the first end of the tag engaging a notch to lock closed the hasp portion.

Locking electrical outlet

A locking electrical outlet has a housing with a channel and an outlet latch within, a slider configured to move axially within the channel, a memory block, a locking plate with an opening, and a spring configured to bias the locking plate towards a first angle. The slider is configured move axially rearward relative to the housing by the insertion of the plug. The rearward movement of the slider reduces the angle of the locking plate such that a blade of the plug can move through the opening of the locking plate. The memory block is partially compressed by the slider such that it the slider engages the outlet latch of the housing, temporarily holding the locking plate at the reduced angle until the expansion of the memory block disengages the slider from the outlet latch and allows the spring to return locking plate towards the first angle.

A locking case for electronic devices may provide for a housing defining at least one cavity configured to removably receive an electronic device and at least one transparent lid configured to removably seal the cavity. In some embodiments, the present invention may provide for a screen, an add time button, a subtract button, and a set button, wherein the present invention is configured such that a user is able to manipulate said buttons to instruct a timing mechanism to create a timing schedule, wherein the timing schedule is received and used by a locking mechanism, and wherein the locking mechanism may lock the lid against the housing for a specified amount of time per the timing schedule.

Access Control System

Provided is a method for access control, performed by an access control apparatus, including obtaining access authorisation information that is communicated to the access control apparatus having at least one access authorization parameter and first check information; using at least the communicated access authorisation parameters, the communicated first check information and a second key from a key pair, which second key is stored in the access control apparatus, to perform a first check on whether the communicated first check information has been produced by performing cryptographic operations by means of access authorisation parameters corresponding to the communicated access authorisation parameters using at least one first key from the key pair, and deciding whether access can be granted, based on the first check delivers a positive result and it is established that at least one predefined set of the communicated access authorisation parameters respectively provides access authorisation.

Method and system for controlling lock of charging inlet

Disclosed herein is a method for controlling a lock of a charging inlet of a vehicle having a lock device for preventing a charging outlet from being disengaged while the charging outlet is engaged. The method for controlling a lock of a charging inlet of a vehicle includes: receiving, by a vehicle controller, an ignition off request of the vehicle in an operation standby state in which the lock device is set to be operated after a predetermined standby period of time; turning off, by the vehicle controller, a power relay of the vehicle while a power latch is maintained to start an ignition off of the vehicle; and operating, by the vehicle controller, the lock device by supplying power to the lock device by turning on the power relay if the ignition off of the vehicle is completed.

A padlock having a locking mechanism that can be unlocked using a thumbwheel, by a traveler, or by secured key, by a TSA or government agent. The Padlock has a timer that prevents the lock from unlocking for a set period of time. The padlock also has a switch that activates the activation of the timer. The activation of the timer activates the timer so that the lock cannot be unlocked until the following sequence is completed: first the padlock unlocking mechanism is activated by dialing the correct code on the thumbwheel of the padlock and thereby starting a set time period for the automatic release of the padlock and second by the lock automatically unlocking after the set period expiring. The padlock also has a bypass mechanism that bypasses the timer sequence and thereby unlocks the lock. The padlock may also have at least one light that notifies a handler of the padlock of the activation of the timer and/or the release of the padlock. The padlock may also have a stopwatch that displays the period of time left before the padlock is unlocked.

Locking unit, housing having a locking unit, and method for unlocking one or more doors of the housing

Provided is a locking unit for a housing, comprising at least two doors for locking each housing opening. The locking unit has a locking element module for each of the doors, and the module has at least one locking body and a locking drive for actuating the locking body. The locking drive has a common drive element for the locking element modules, which drive element can be moved about a displacement path, and which, in a first displacement position, brings the locking body, for only one of the doors or only a first group of doors, of the doors into an unlocking position, and in a second displacement position, brings the locking body for all doors into an unlocking position. The invention also relates to a housing comprising a locking unit of this type, and to a method for unlocking one or more doors of a housing of this type.
