Systems and methods for magnet-equipped locks
The disclosed computer-implemented method may include a magnetic insertable lock component with a magnet-sensing lock housing. By using a magnet within a pin and a magnetic field sensor within the lock housing, the apparatus may accurately detect the state of the lock. In some embodiments, the apparatus may determine the pin is inserted fully into the lock, the pin is inserted partially into the lock, the pin is not inserted in the lock, and/or that a foreign object that is not the pin is inserted into the lock. By using a magnet within the pin to track the state of the lock, the apparatus may improve both the user experience and the security of the lock. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

Bicycle Locking Assembly
A bicycle locking assembly includes a bicycle rack is secured to a support surface and a plurality of parking elements each is integrated into the bicycle rack to have a respective bicycle parked in the parking elements. A plurality of bicycle locks is each movably integrated into the bicycle rack for locking a respective bicycle to a respective parking element. A card reader is coupled to the bicycle rack for processing a payment to facilitate a user to lock their bicycle to the bicycle rack. A camera is integrated into the bicycle rack to record footage of the bicycle rack thereby monitoring bicycles that are locked to the bicycle rack. A light emitter is coupled to the bicycle rack to emit light outwardly from the bicycle rack for enhancing visibility of the bicycle rack at night.
PORTABLE LOCK APPARATUS
An example lock apparatus includes a shackle including an engagement portion, and a lock head operable to selectively engage the engagement portion to thereby retain the lock apparatus in a closed condition. The lock head includes a housing, a slider, and a detent mechanism. The slider is mounted for sliding movement relative to the housing between a first position and a second position. One of the first position or the second position is a closed position in which the slider prevents removal of the engagement portion from the lock head, and the other of the first position or the second position is an open position in which the slider permits removal of the engagement portion from the lock head. The detent mechanism is configured to selectively resist movement of the slider from the first position.
Security device
A security device can include a clip allowing the security device to be attached to clothing, bags or other accessories without the need for a separate holster or carrier. The security device can be readily transported without the need for a separate holster or carrier.
