Disclosed herein are device and system for providing shade comprising: a) a deformable screen assembly having a border about its edge, the screen assembly comprising: i) a support frame defining the edge of the screen assembly, and ii) a screen component having at least two apertures for receiving an adjustable arm, the apertures being contained within the screen assembly edge; and; b) an adjustable arm. Also disclosed herein are devices for clamping an object, comprising: a) a spring clip and b) a clamping arm.

The invention features a dual shade apparatus adapted to provide shade to an individual or individuals while the individual(s) is/are outside and in need of shade from sunlight.
