Multi-sensor module, a handle module, and movable vehicle element

An outside door handle module for a vehicle may have one handle element having a handle outer side and a handle inner side. The module may also have one gesture sensor and an actuation sensor. The gesture sensor may be arranged on or in the handle outer side and the actuation sensor may be arranged on or in the handle inner side.

Compression mount paddle handle

A paddle style handle assembly is provided for an RV, emergency vehicle or utility vehicle door or compartment. The assembly includes a housing and pivotal paddle which form a paddle module. The assembly also includes an ornamental bezel. The paddle module and bezel are compression mounted from the interior and exterior sides of a door panel, respectively, so that the panel is sandwiched between the paddle module and the bezel. The housing includes screw holders with molded flash membranes to hold screws prior to assembly on the door panel. The housing includes pockets formed around the paddle axle for receipt of gaskets to inhibit water infiltration. A counterbalance and a power lock actuator may be provided on the paddle module.

A system for protecting a motor vehicle is disclosed. A motor vehicle having an electronic lock openable by a remote radio signal originating from outside the motor vehicle includes a fabric configured to attenuate the transmission of radio waves therethrough. The fabric has a plurality of fibers plated with a metal and formed into a flexible washable, planar material, the fabric. The fabric is shaped to comprise a three-dimensional shape approximating the exterior shape of the motor vehicle and is disposed about the exterior of the motor vehicle substantially enclosing the top and sides of the motor vehicle.

POWER DOOR PRESENTER WITH LATCHING FEATURE

The subject matter of the present invention is a motor-vehicle door lock which is equipped with a locking mechanism, further with an opening drive (3, 4) which acts on the locking mechanism, and also with an operating lever mechanism (6, 7). At least one sensor (8) for checking an operator opening request is further provided. Finally, a safety device (9, 10, 11), which prevents the locking mechanism (3, 4) from opening at least in its safe position, is provided. The invention makes provision for an intermediate lever (7) of the operating lever mechanism (6, 7), which intermediate lever mechanically converts the operator opening request, to selectively act on or not act on the sensor (8) which actuates the opening drive (3, 4), depending on the position of the safety device (9, 10, 11).
