Universal system for mounting rack doors

A mount for mounting a door to rack includes a rack including a first pair of vertically-extending supports, each support including an array of openings; a first mount coupled to the rack at a first position thereon, the first mount including: a first plate extending between the first pair of vertically-extending supports and including a first end and a second end, and a first hinge arm adjustably coupled with the first plate; a second mount coupled to the rack at a second position located below the first position, the second mount including: a second plate extending between the first pair of vertically-extending supports and including a first end and a second end, and a second hinge arm adjustably coupled with the second plate.

Latch

A latch that is waterproof or water-resistant so as to resist the entry of water through the latch. The latch can be a slam latch having a pawl with a shaft. A sealing element, for example, a collar and/or an O-ring, can be placed around the shaft of the pawl to resist water from entering through the latch. The pawl can also enclose the cavity in which the latch handle is maintained so water cannot enter through the cavity. Other measures, such as a gasket and selective welding, can also be implemented to improve the water-resistance of the latch.

Lock status indicators

An example trim generally includes an escutcheon, an indicator plate, a cam, and a backplate. The indicator plate is movably mounted in the escutcheon, and has a first position in which a first indicium is aligned with an escutcheon window of the escutcheon, and a second position in which a second indicium is aligned with the escutcheon window. The cam is rotatably mounted in the escutcheon for rotation between a first handing orientation and a second handing orientation. The cam is operable to move the indicator plate between the first position and the second position when the cam is in each of the handing orientations. The backplate is coupled to the escutcheon and at least partially encloses the indicator plate within the escutcheon. The cam is operable to rotate between the first handing orientation and the second handing orientation while the backplate remains coupled to the escutcheon.

A computing system includes a computing tray for receiving a computing device; a latch attached to the computing tray for releasing the computing tray during installation or removal operations; and a lock assembly for preventing accidental release of the computing tray. The lock assembly includes a fixed bracket having two fixed sides, one of the fixed sides being a mounting side attached to the computing tray near the latch; and a movable bracket having two movable sides attached respectively to the two fixed sides. The movable bracket is adjustable relative to the fixed bracket between a releasing position and a secured position. The movable bracket allows the latch to release the computing tray in the releasing position, and the movable bracket physically blocks the latch from releasing the computing tray in the secured position.

A locking device for a container having a hinged lid, comprises a base unit adapted to be fixed to the container and a pivotable unit mounted to the base unit and pivotally movable between open and closed positions. The base unit includes a locking mechanism comprising a casing, a rotatable shaft, a blocking member fixed to the shaft and disposed in the casing, and a rolling member. The pivotable unit is mounted to the shaft of the base unit. The rolling member is provided to move within the casing between a blocking position wherein the rolling member blocks movement of the pivotable unit relative to the casing to prevent unauthorized opening of the lid, and a release position wherein the rolling member moves away from the blocking member to permit the movement of the blocking member relative to the casing thereby permitting opening of the lid.

Casement Window Opening Control Device with Sliding Arms

A device may limit opening of a sash hingedly coupled to a master frame, and includes: a bracket attached to the sash; a first arm having a first end pivotally coupled to the bracket; a second arm having a first end pivotally coupled to the first arm's second end; means for biasing the second arm into a retracted position; and a release assembly. The release assembly is secured to the master frame and includes a hook pivotable between a first position and a second position, which, in the first position, may be releasably received in an opening in the second end of the second arm when the second arm is in the retracted position, as the sash is closed and received within the master window frame The second arm is disengaged from the hook, permitting full opening of the sash, when the hook is pivoted into the second position.

Line belt driven retrofittable door opener, system, and method of retrofitting thereof
