An apparatus is provided for closing a liftgate. That apparatus includes a handle displaceable between a stowed position and a deployed position, a latch to releasably hold the handle in the stowed position, an actuator to displace the handle into the deployed position and a release feature to release the latch and deploy the handle. A liftgate assembly incorporating that apparatus and a method of closing a liftgate are also disclosed.

A door blocker for a vehicle includes a rotation platform positioned between first and second lateral drive members. The rotation platform is operably coupled to the first and second lateral drive members. An actuator has a first end operably coupled to the rotation platform. A reaction block has a slot that receives a second end of the actuator. The door blocker may be transformable to a power running board.

A door stop device is disclosed. A door stop device comprising a rope with a top portion and a bottom portion, a top rope holder, a bottom rope holder, a first ring, a lockable ring, a wire ring, a foot shaped portion, wherein the top portion of the rope is secured and configured to the top rope holder in such a manner as to form a loop for hanging or attaching the loop around a door handle, wherein the bottom rope holder couples the rope to the first ring, wherein the first ring is linked to the lockable ring, and wherein the lockable ring is linked to the wire ring; and wherein the wire ring is further linked to the foot shaped portion.

For the purpose of improving usability an emergency door handle configured for opening a home appliance, in particular a handle-less home appliance, in particular a home chiller appliance, is proposed, comprising: at least one handle unit having at least one handle element; and at least one opening unit having at least one protrusion element for transmitting an opening force exerted onto the handle element to a door of the home appliance.
