A method for execution by a computing entity includes interpreting a fluid flow response from fluid flow sensors to produce a piston position of a piston associated with a head unit device. The head unit device includes a chamber filled with a shear thickening fluid (STF). The method further includes determining a door position based on the piston position. The method further includes determining parameters for wireless signals based on the door position. The method further includes facilitating utilization of the parameters for the wireless signals to promote successful communication of status and/or control of the door via the wireless signals.

Hood Mount Assembly
A hood mount includes a bracket, a plunger assembly, and a receiver assembly. The bracket includes a plurality of recesses and is adapted to be mounted to one of a vehicle body or a hood. The plunger assembly includes a plunger including a tapered surface and is adapted to be mounted to the other of the vehicle body or hood. The receiver assembly includes a body defining a tapered seat, a pair of apertures extending through the body, a pair of rods extending through the apertures, and a plurality of bushings fixed to the rods. A portion of the plurality of bushings are received in the plurality of recesses. In a first position, the tapered surface of the plunger is spaced apart from the tapered seat of the body. In a second position, the tapered surface of the plunger contacts the tapered seat of the body.
SLIDING SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED MECHANISMS
Example embodiments provide a sliding system with improved mechanisms. According to embodiments, the sliding system may include a drive mechanism, a frame, a supporting device, and a connecting device. The drive mechanism is configurable to move a sliding panel along at least one track. The frame may house at least a portion of the drive mechanism. The supporting device may be detachably connected to the frame. The connecting device detachably connected the drive mechanism to the sliding panel.
Door connecting device for vehicle
A door connecting device for a vehicle to which opposite swing doors including a rear door and a front door is applied, the opposite swing doors being configured to be opened or closed by a relative movement between the rear door and the front door, includes a lever rotatably mounted on one of the front door and the rear door and configured to be rotated by the relative movement between the rear door and the front door; a catcher disposed on one of the front door and the rear door and configured to rotate in conjunction with a rotation of the lever; and a cable connecting the lever and the catcher and configured to transmit a rotation force caused by the relative movement to the catcher when the lever rotates.
ARRANGEMENT FOR MOVING AT LEAST ONE COVERING ELEMENT
An arrangement has a guide device within a cavity of a furniture part, a support to be moved along the guide device, and a pivoting device. The covering element can be mounted so as to be pivotable on the support by the pivoting device. The arrangement has a stabilizing device by which the covering element, during a movement along the guide device, can be held at a predetermined distance from the guide device and/or from a wall of the fixed furniture part. The wall delimits the cavity, wherein the stabilizing device comprises a coupling element which to be coupled to the covering element in each position of the covering element.
SPRING HINGE EQUIPPED WITH AN ASSEMBLY TOOL
A hinge of the type including two coaxial, overlapping constitutive wings, each of the constitutive wings being constituted by a body having an ogive profile in which a cavity is internally obtained, wherein one of the constitutive wings carries a pin of smaller diameter in a stable engagement inside the cavity, surrounded by a spring, the pivot and the spring being suitable for engagement with the cavity of the other constituent wing, the coaxial constituent wings having on the base surface of the internal cavity a tangential groove for housing the terminal appendage of the spring.
Lid opening/closing device
A lid opening/closing device includes: a base member provided with an opening; a lid configured to open/close the opening; and a positioning portion configured to position at least a vertical position of the lid relative to the base member at a closed position of the lid. The positioning portion includes an engagement recess portion provided to the base member in a recess shape, and an engagement projection portion provided to the lid in a projection shape and configured to be engaged with the engagement recess portion at least in an up-down direction at the closed position of the lid. The engagement recess portion includes a rib extending in the up-down direction at the closed position of the lid. The rib is engaged at a distal end thereof with the engagement projection portion at the closed position of the lid.
