Modular privacy booth for cooperative use with a teller station, ATM, or the like
09963892 · 2018-05-08 ·

A privacy booth for isolating a user from the surrounding environment so as to provide acoustical and possibly visual privacy to the user. A single privacy booth may be utilized when a user must interact with an electronic device or terminal, for example, an ATM. When interacting with a human, for example, a bank teller, a pair of joined privacy booths provide acoustical and visual privacy to both interacting parties. The solid but possibly transparent barrier between the user and the teller helps prevent snatch and grab type crimes and protects the teller from armed robbery attempts. Access to the user's privacy booth may be controlled using access keypads that open semi-circular doors. A transaction pass-through tube allows for passing documents, etc. back and forth between the user and the teller. The privacy booth may have an elevatable and rotatable floor allowing access to wheel chair confined persons.

Centrally controlled safe management system

A cash management system utilizes a cloud computing model wherein a cloud of one or more servers may be locally networked or may be geographically dispersed and accessed by the client device over the Internet. The client device is a cash management safe. More than one safe may be employed in a system. Metrics, control functions, and interactions normally handled by an autonomous safe are shunted directly to a cloud server on the network. Usage data, currency validations, coin validations, security entries, etc. are communicated to the cloud server. The cloud server(s), based on database information and software settings, can transmit configuration, updates and information to remote safes. The information transmitted may include user configuration, access rules, currency configuration, alert configuration, and software and firmware updates. The cloud server based cash management system allows the entire cash management of an enterprise to be provided as a service to that enterprise.

System for the safe coupling of a re-usable bag to a banknote handling and storing machine and relevant use method

A system for the safe coupling of a re-usable bag to a banknote handling and storing machine, the system includes a bag container, having an upper rigid mouth, of a flexible bag permanently fixed to the rigid mouth and of a lid for closing the rigid mouth. The system also includes a bag-holding frame, suitable for being stably fixed to a safe structure of the machine, for supporting and hooking the bag container when placed inside the machine to be filled in with the banknotes, is provided with coupling and hooking electromechanical components between the bag container and the bag-holding frame. The lid for closing the rigid mouth is further provided with an element suitable to allow, on command, the banknotes passing from the machine to the bag through the closed lid when the bag container is correctly inserted inside the machine.

Systems and methods for transferring a locked container between vaults

Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for securely transferring a locked container from a primary vault to a secondary vault. In one implementation, a triggering event corresponding to a transfer of a first locked container from the primary vault to the secondary vault is detected. The first locked container is detected in the primary vault, and a second locked container is detected in the secondary vault. A transfer time for the transfer is determined based on when the second locked container is detected in the secondary vault. The transfer is validated as a compliant transfer when the second locked container is identified as the first locked container and the transfer time is within a time tolerance band.

A power supply provides electric powerwith appropriate voltage and amperage for the planned useto supports (14)that can be shielded electrical materialswherefrom flexible, charged conductors (13) exit. These may be disposed exiting from lower supports in the ground, or from the supports of one or both sides of lateral and/or upper structures delimiting the entry/exit locations of the restricted access area (10) and having dimensions and shapes most suitable to the specific use intended.

This system renders it possible to prevent pedestrian and/or vehicles in general without a cabin from accessing the area (10), with access allowed to vehicles with a cabin, including convertible vehicles with a closed hood, although simultaneously or immediately before or after the passage of authorized vehicle(s), preventing intrusions, invasions, assaults etc. to the restricted access area (10).
