Vacuum glazing and method for manufacturing the same
A vacuum glazing includes a vacuum layer formed between a first glazing and a second glazing, a spacer provided in the vacuum layer, a frame provided at edge portions of the first and second glazings, and a sealant interposed between the frame and surfaces of the first and second glazings to perform sealing of the vacuum layer. The insulating performance of the vacuum glazing is improved.
Outdoor window
An outdoor window including a movable sash which is connected to a fixed frame by means of a hinge system, and is provided with a supporting frame comprising a supporting section bar connected with the hinge system. The pivoting system has a bracket fixed to the fixed frame and provided with a projecting portion, that is placed alongside the outer lateral face of the upright of the movable sash when the latter is closed. The pivoting system further comprises a hinge which is provided with a first wing fixed to the supporting section bar of the movable sash, and with a second wing fixed to the projecting portion of the bracket. The supporting frame of the movable sash comprises a protective section bar which covers the hinge and the supporting section bar of the movable sash when the latter is closed.
Collapsible side door latch module
A discloses latch module assembly includes a channel and a bracket supported on the channel. The bracket supports a handle assembly and is movable between a collapsed position and an installed position to enable assembly through small openings within a door. A method of installing a door latch module assembly is also disclosed.
Powered driven door presenter for vehicle doors
A vehicle includes a body and a door that is movably mounted to the body. The door has a powered latch and an electrically-powered actuator that extends and retracts a plunger from an inner side of the door. A controller unlatches the powered latch and actuates the electrically-powered actuator such that the plunger contacts the body and pushes the door open. The controller then controls the electrically-powered actuator to retract the plunger while the door is open.
CONSTRUCTION ELEMENT FOR LIGHT TRANSPARENT SOLUTIONS
A construction element A comprises a) at least one pane of glass B; and b) a frame C made of a non-coated thermoset polymeric composite material with a polymer matrix which is based on at least 50 wt.-% of an aliphatic polyisocyanate; and c) optionally at least one sealant D that connects the pane of glass B with frame C. It is characterized by an excellent long term weathering resistance, high durability and low maintenance efforts.
Architectural terrace door
The threshold system includes a first support member secured to a walking surface, a second support member secured to the walking surface, and a thermal break joining the first support member and the second support member. A first ramp is removably coupled to the first support member. A second ramp is removably coupled to the second support member.
Thermally enhanced multi-component glass doors and windows
A building component includes a frame including a first material and cladding connected to the frame. The building component also includes a thermal break defined by the frame intermediate a first side and a second side of the building component and an insulating material within the thermal break. The building component further includes an insulated glass unit including a first glass pane and a second glass pane spaced from the first glass pane. The first glass pane and the second glass pane define a pocket therebetween. The thermal break and the pocket define a continuous thermal break when the building component is in a closed position.
Spring-loaded sash guide
A sash includes a stile, the stile defining a first flange and a second flange, a locking slot defined extending through the first flange; and a sash guide, the sash guide defining a first guide leg and a second guide leg, the first guide leg defining a locking tab, the locking tab extending through the locking slot.
Refrigerator and control method thereof
A refrigerator and a method for controlling the same are disclosed, which may automatically open or close a door and a method for controlling the same. The refrigerator may automatically open or close door(s) of the refrigerator by controlling a motor. After lapse of a predetermined time after the door of the refrigerator has been closed, the refrigerator operates a motor with an output used when the door is not opened, such that the refrigerator may remove noise while simultaneously maintaining a constant door opening time when the door is opened. In addition, when the door opening signal time is detected, the refrigerator may immediately opens the door.
Wirelessly actuated cover for a structure
A cover is configured to selectively engage with a portion of a structure in response to receiving a wireless electrical power signal at a receiver antenna of the cover from a wireless power source located in an outside environment, to separate a first environment on a first side of the cover from a second environment on a second side of the cover opposite the first side. In response to wirelessly receiving the electrical power signal, a fastening subassembly of the cover changes from a secured mode configured to inhibit opening a cover body with respect to the structure, to an unsecured mode configured to facilitate opening the cover body with respect to the structure. This in turn allows the cover to be matingly engaged with a portion of the structure to form a smooth continuous surface, without any exposed fasteners on the exterior side of the cover.
