The present disclosure provides a water-blocking device including a water-blocking plate installed on a floor of a passage, rails installed on both sidewalls of the floor, and a driving part configured to lift and lower the water-blocking plate, wherein, when the driving part is operated, the water-blocking plate is lifted and lowered along the rails.

A security screen employs frame rails 11, as an extrusion of constant cross-section and having a rectangular hollow space 18 and a screen entry opening 19 opposite the hollow section 18. The rail 11 leads from the screen entry opening 19 outboard as a form of channel 20. The channel 20 has three regions comprising a screen tensioning region 21, a glue receiving region 22 and a seal or cover strip receiving region 23. The first step in assembly is to caulk or otherwise deposit a suitable glue, for example a methacrylate, epoxy, urethane or equivalent to fill the glue region 22. The screen is inserted through the glue, the frame promoting movement of the glue into the screen so that the glue hardens to form a matrix around and through the screen.

In the magnetic track assembly, the first and second magnets are of opposite polarity and the screen receiver is loosely disposed within the compartment such that a magnetic bond is intact between the first and second magnets when the first and second magnets are close together and the magnetic bond is broken when the first and second magnets are pulled apart.

According to one embodiment, a flood vent panel includes a first area, a second area, and a first set of one or more perforations positioned on a first side of the flood vent panel in a location in-between the first area and the second area. The perforations are configured to break when at least a predetermined amount of pressure is applied to a portion of the second area. The flood vent panel is configured to be coupled, at least indirectly, to a structure so as to at least partially block a fluid passageway through an opening in the structure. The break is configured to completely separate the second area from the first area so as to reduce an amount of blockage of the fluid passageway.

According to one embodiment, a flood vent panel includes a first area, a second area, and a first set of one or more perforations positioned on a first side of the flood vent panel in a location in-between the first area and the second area. The perforations are configured to break when at least a predetermined amount of pressure is applied to a portion of the second area. The flood vent panel is configured to be coupled, at least indirectly, to a structure so as to at least partially block a fluid passageway through an opening in the structure. The break is configured to completely separate the second area from the first area so as to reduce an amount of blockage of the fluid passageway.

Low friction high speed roll door at high wind loads

A high speed roll door is movable between an open and a closed position at an opening of a building. The door includes a flexible curtain and a pair of side columns. Each side column provides an inner track to guide the curtain in vertical movement and restrain the curtain from lateral movement during deployment and retraction. The curtain further includes multiple cross bars supporting the flexible curtain from one of the pair of side columns to the other. Each of the cross bars further includes a first longitudinal bar sandwiching part of the curtain; and a second longitudinal bar pivotally connected to the first longitudinal bar. The hinge has an axis of rotation parallel to the first and the second longitudinal bars. At least a wheel is rotatably affixed to each end of the second longitudinal bar to engage the inner track of each of the side columns.

The lifting apparatus further includes a guiding element for guiding a position of the lifting cable along a horizontal direction while the flexible divider moves between the lowered configuration and the raised configuration. The guiding element is movably mounted to the ceiling structure to move between a first horizontal position when the flexible divider is in the lowered configuration, and a second horizontal position when the flexible divider is in the raised configuration.
