Telescoping Guardrail/Flip Door
The present disclosure relates systems and methods involving movable/adjustable platforms and/or guardrails. An example system a bracket configured to be coupled to a fixed structure having a walking surface and a flip door portion rotatably coupled to the bracket. The system also includes a guardrail portion extendibly coupled to the flip door portion and a telescopic linkage further coupling the flip door portion to the guardrail portion. The system additionally includes a locking mechanism with a locking pin. The locking pin is configured to maintain the flip door portion in a raised configuration. The system is configured to be adjusted between the raised configuration and a platform configuration.
A SUPPORT FOR A GUDGEON
This invention relates to a support for a gudgeon. It is known to hang gates on posts by way of gudgeons. Over time the load and movement of the gate may cause the gudgeon to loosen. In this regard the hole that the gudgeon is screwed into becomes ‘over-sized’ due to wear and tear. This may necessitate replacing the gudgeon, or screwing it into another part of the post. It is an object of a preferred embodiment of the invention to address this problem. In this regard there is a support having a hub and a series of spikes. The gudgeon passes through the hub and the spikes are imbedded in a post. The arrangement is such that the support 1 takes up at least some tipping force on the gudgeon.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR APPLICATION OF CHEMICAL TREATMENT TO LIVESTOCK
A method and an apparatus for application of chemical treatment to livestock provide a combination chemical roller applicator and livestock sprayer with a gateway to a livestock resource area. A roller applicator imparts a liquid treatment to the nose and face of an animal after lifting a flap attached to the roller. A pump conveys chemical from a reservoir to the roller and sprayer nozzles. The apparatus secures to an existing fence or gate.
Retractable gate system
A retractable gate system structured and arranged to block off stairs and doorways with a simple pull and click by extending a sliding rail, pulling down mesh material, and clipping the device into bottom anchor hooks to instantly close off any opening thereby keeping kids and pets safe.
RFID TRACKING DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Systems and methods for monitoring a location and/or status of equipment, tools, products, and/or vehicles using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology are provided herein. A system may comprise a plurality of RFID tags, each RFID tag associated with one of a plurality of items, a database storing information about each item, and a gateway structure. The gateway structure may include an RFID reader that reads the RFID tags. When the RFID tag is read, information in the database may be dynamically updated. Such system may be used for asset management.

HINGED SAFETY GATE
Hinged safety gates and methods for controlling access to an elevated work surface are disclosed. The hinged safety gate can include a gate frame and a retainer assembly. The gate frame can have a distal upright member, an upper cross-arm, and a lower cross-arm. The upper cross-arm can have an upper cross-arm height (or vertical dimension), and the lower cross-arm can have a lower cross-arm height. The hinged safety gate can have a retainer assembly that is configured to be attached to a proximal end of the gate frame and to hingedly couple the gate frame to a stationary vertical surface, permitting the gate frame to swing between an open and a closed position. Some embodiments satisfy various spatial safety requirements with only two cross-arms. Some embodiments are horizontally adjustable in two different manners to accommodate a range of access area widths.
Collapsible in wall gate
A collapsible gate may provide a temporary barrier to prevent movement between rooms, or to prevent access to a staircase, in a home or commercial building. The collapsible gate may be secured to framing material within a wall and adapted for storage within a wall cavity, such as a pocket door frame, when not in use. The collapsible gate may be vertically retractable and adapted to fit between two framing studs to stow within a wall cavity and out of sight. The collapsible gate may include a counterbalance to maintain the gate within the wall cavity when the gate is in the fully open position, and to assist in opening the gate when the gate is lifted from a closed position.
Gate
A gate comprises a spring-loaded hinge arrangement defining a rotational axis. A gate structure having a first support arm connected to a first end of the hinge arrangement is also provided. The gate structure is rotatable about the rotational axis. A spring-loaded hinge arrangement includes an outer hinge tube fixedly connectable to an adjacent structure and an inner hinge tube received in the outer hinge tube. The inner hinge tube has a first portion and a second portion movable with respect to each other, the second portion of the inner hinge tube being fixed with respect to the outer hinge tube and the first portion of the inner hinge tube being fixed with respect to the support arm.
