LADDER COVER
20200063495 · 2020-02-27 ·

The present invention provides a ladder cover made up of fabric which prevents the marring of the wall from the top edges of the ladder, is enabled to couple to any ladder type and consists of a loop which secures construction tools to the ladder cover. The user wraps the ladder cover around the top edges of the side rails such that it covers the top edges completely. The wrapping of the cover is enabled by the coupling material such as Velcro which secures its position onto the side rails of the ladder. The cover further consists of adjustable loop on its top surface which enable the user to couple at least one construction tool at the time of use.

The present invention is a safety pool ladder to be installed against a wall of an above-ground pool. The safety pool ladder comprises a ladder structure comprising a plurality of step members extending horizontally between a pair of side members, and a flat surface disposed towards back of the plurality of step members, when the safety pool ladder is disposed in a use position. The safety pool ladder also comprises a pair of side rails with channels formed therein to allow the ladder structure to travel along a length thereof. The ladder structure is adapted to travel along the length of the side rails, and rotated and flipped thereafter such that the flat surface is disposed towards front of the plurality of step members to dispose the safety pool ladder in a block position.

Stepladder adapted for use as a single ladder or an extension ladder

A ladder apparatus has a first ladder section having a pair of side rails and a plurality of rungs extending between the side rails, a second ladder section hingedly connected to the first ladder section adjacent an upper end of the first ladder section, and a latch mechanism affixed to one of the ladder sections and engageable with the other of the first and second ladder sections. The second ladder section is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The latch mechanism is adapted to secure the second ladder section in the retracted position. The second ladder section will extend in generally parallel relation to the first ladder section when in this retracted position. A ladder top is affixed to the upper end of the first ladder section and extends outwardly therefrom so as to have an end surface positioned away from the first ladder section.

Ladders and ladder components are provided inluding a rung assembly that provides an alert to a user of the ladder that they are standing on a particular rung or step. In one example, the lower most rung or step of a ladder includes a rung assembly having an alert mechanism. The alert mechanism may provide an audible and/or other sensory alert to a user when they step on the rung assembly so that the user recognizes their position relative to the ground or supporting surface. In one embodiment, the rung assembly is configured to include a base member, a displaceable member and an alert mechanism, wherein the displaceable member is positioned between the alert mechanism and the base member.

A tool use system has a tool having sensors tracking use of the tool, a first CPU executing first coded instructions monitoring input from the sensors with respect to time; and first wireless communication circuitry adapted to transmit data, and a central hub comprising a second CPU executing second coded instructions, a data repository, and second wireless communication circuitry compatible with the first wireless communication circuitry. The first coded instructions comprise an algorithm adapted to identify an instance of unsafe use of the tool based on sensory input and time, and wherein an identified instance of unsafe use is transmitted by the first wireless communication circuitry to the second wireless communication circuitry, and the second coded instructions cause the instance of unsafe use to be recorded in the data repository.

LADDER KNEE REST

A ladder knee rest comprising a padded frame with top and bottom lateral arms separated by a central support column. The frame can be hung in front of a ladder with a positioning strap, and the length of the positioning strap can be adjusted to move the frame vertically up or down the ladder. Securing straps extending from the lateral arms can be connected behind the ladder and tightened to prevent side-to-side movement. A user's knees can be placed between the padded top and bottom lateral arms to reduce pain and/or discomfort in the user's legs while the user works on the ladder.
