Hair length hand guide
The Hair Length Hand Guide allows for the user to easily measure and cut hair at uniform lengths. The guide is mounted between any two fingers on either hand such that the guide support extends perpendicular to the bottom of the hand when the user's fingers are extended straight and the hand is flat. To measure hair, the user can run their fingers at an angle in a combing motion through the hair grasping any that needs to be cut at its base. The curvature on the bottom of the guide support then allows the user to rock their hand back, pulling the hair grasped between their fingers straight while bringing the hand parallel to the cutting surface. The user can then cut any hair that extends beyond the top of their fingers for a uniform cut.

Multi-Use Hair Styling Apparatus and Methods of Use
A hairstyling apparatus has a cushioning sheath that defines an enclosed opening and a flexible frame positioned within the cushioning sheath. The frame extends along an inner perimeter of the cushioning sheath such that end portions of the frame are adjacent the ends of the cushioning sheath. First and second sides of the cushioning sheath are capable of being twisted with respect to each other such that first and side portions of the frame cause the enclosed opening to become smaller.

HAIR ACCESSORY
A weighted hair accessory device is provided, wherein the hair accessory device includes a main body including a first movable arm and a second movable arm, wherein the main body is configured to move between an open and a closed position; a hinge element pivotally connecting a first end of the first movable arm to a first end of the second movable arm; and a securing device having a first latching element located at a second end of the first movable arm and a second latching element located at a second end of the second movable arm, wherein the securing device is configured to releasably secure the main body in the closed position. The hair accessory device is configured to apply weight to a portion of hair in order to straighten and/or prevent shrinkage of the portion of hair during drying, e.g., without the use of chemical substances or heat.

METHOD OF AND APPARATUS FOR HAIRDRESSING
The present invention provides an improved method of hairdressing for dreadlocks, the results of which are long lasting without the requirement of extensive and costly maintenance. The method curls locks internally using a length of thread (14) that is inserted inside each dreadlock (16) using a needle-like device (12) and attached to the dreadlock at two or more attachment points (18, 20). The thread (14) is tensioned between the two or more points (18, 20) so as to compress the hair between said points, thereby shortening the length of the dreadlock (16). This compression also allows for any weak points in the locks (16) to be condensed and strengthened. If enough shortening is applied, the dreadlock (16) will reach a point at which it cannot compress any further and will consequently curl or kink. The more tension applied, the more the dreadlock (16) will curl or kink. Such an effect will last as long as the thread remains inside the dreadlock (16), and will not be spoilt from every day wear or water exposure.

Hair Straightening Brush
Examples of a hairbrush are presented that comprises a heating plate and a plurality of protruding heating elements. The plurality of heating elements is arranged in a pattern resulting in a plurality of undulating paths such that hair strands pass on top of a face of the heating plate and through the plurality of undulating paths during brushing of the hair. A length of at least two of the heating elements, along at least one of the undulating paths, is larger than a width of the at least some of the heating elements. The hairbrush also includes a plurality of heat insulating spacers extending from the heating plate. At least some of the heat insulating spacers are longer than at least some of the said plurality of heating elements, and a plurality of peripheral heat insulating spacers are disposed around at least a portion of the heating plate.
