HAIR CLASP
In one aspect, the invention provides a hair clasp comprising a substrate made of a flexible material capable of going from a concave position to a convex position by the application of slight force, such as by press of fingers. The substrate has an inner portion that comes in contact with hair and an outer portion that is exposed. The hair clasp comprises at least one set of teeth having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the proximal end is attached to the substrate. The flexible material used as the substrate may be any rubbery material such as natural rubber, neoprene, silicone, and the like. The hair clasp may further include decorative items such as bows, colored cloths, and the like, on the outer portion of the substrate.
HEADBAND WITH ACCESSORY AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
A headband with an accessory formed by folding a fabric in half bringing, a first end of the fabric and a second end of the fabric together to form a joined end, opposite of a creased end, gathering the joined end to resemble an accordion and forming a gathered end, affixing the first end of the fabric and the second end of the fabric together, tying a string around the gathered end, positioning the fabric on a flat surface with the gathered end in a middle, and affixing an accessory to the gathered end.
Illuminated ponytail holder
A ponytail holder includes a frustoconical base having first and second parts each mutually hinged to move between an open position and a closed position about the ponytail. The bottom edge of the base is at least partially covered with an electrically conductive surface. A frustoconical cover is fixable with the base and includes at least two conductive projections each adapted for a snap fit with the bottom edge of the base to mechanically and electrically secure the cover to the base. A plurality of LEDs fixed with the cover are connected to the battery when the cover is engaged with the base. A controller provides power from the battery to the LEDs in a variety of ways to create a unique lighting effect based on a rotational position of the cover, an ambient sound level, a selected lighting mode, or a wireless command signal.

A self-defense device includes a notification or alarm component configured to be used with a personal item, wherein the notification or alarm component is a whistle or an alarm device. The personal item may be a hairpiece, a keychain, a glove, a purse, an earring, a belt, or a handbag. The notification or alarm component may be an electronic device that can makes a loud sound or send an electronic signal that communicates with a cell phone or an alarm center.

BRAIDING TRAINING TOOL
A braid training tool includes a head component having multiple strands selected from human hair, synthetic hair, and/or yarn extending from a surface and partitioned into sectors. A method of strengthening dexterity with the tool includes separating the multiple strands in at least one of the sectors into a predetermined number of sections; interweaving the sections according to a predetermined pattern to form a braid having a selected length; and securing the braid.
BRAIDING TRAINING TOOL
A braid training tool includes a head component having multiple strands selected from human hair, synthetic hair, and/or yarn extending from a surface and partitioned into sectors. A method of strengthening dexterity with the tool includes separating the multiple strands in at least one of the sectors into a predetermined number of sections; interweaving the sections according to a predetermined pattern to form a braid having a selected length; and securing the braid.
Gem applicator assembly
A gem applicator assembly including a dispenser supporting a plurality of gems and an applicator. Each gem has an adhesive backing. The applicator includes a body with a support assembly supported by the body and configured to receive and support the dispenser with one of the gems alignable with an application target area. A plunger is supported relative to the body and movable relative thereto between an initial position and an application position wherein the push rod engages the aligned gem and pushes the gem such that the adhesive backing of an aligned gem moves toward the application target area. The gem dispenser may include a disk configuration with a plurality of spaced apart gem openings extending through the disk. Each gem is aligned with a respective gem opening.
Customizable hair clip assembly
A customizable hair clip assembly for connecting to a wearer's hair and providing a selective decorative aspect, including a hair clip able to releaseably attach to a wearer's hair having an indentation at a first end, a first decorative portion, and a magnetic portion secured to the first decorative portion. The indentation is configured to have substantially the same shape and size as the magnetic portion such that the magnetic portion can be substantially fully inserted into the indentation in a mounted configuration.
HAIR TIE EXTRACTION IMPLEMENT
