Device for delivering a liquid additive and motor vehicle having the device
A device for delivering a liquid additive includes an additive delivery unit and an electronic unit. The additive delivery unit has at least one hydraulic component for delivering the liquid additive. All electrical connections of the at least one hydraulic component are brought together in a first plug connector on the additive delivery unit. The electronic unit has a second plug connector which can be connected to the first plug connector. The first plug connector and the second plug connector are connected to one another and form a plug connection when the electronic unit and the additive delivery unit are connected to one another. A motor vehicle having the device is also provided.
Silencer and catalytic converter apparatus with adjustable blocking panel
A silencer and catalytic converter apparatus includes a housing and a frame assembly arranged in the housing. The frame assembly may receive at least one catalyst panel and support the catalyst panel to occupy an area of a flow passage between upstream and downstream chamber sections of the housing. A blocking panel may be supported by the frame assembly to obstruct a remaining area of the flow passage so that fluid flowing between the upstream and downstream chamber sections is directed to flow through the catalyst panel. The blocking panel may be adjustable to accommodate catalyst panels of different sizes.
EXHAUST ENCLOSURE AND THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Thermal management is provided. An exhaust enclosure is configured to receive a combustion gas from a combustion engine. The exhaust enclosure is enclosed from an environment by a plurality of enclosure walls extending from an exhaust portion of an exhaust vent. The exhaust enclosure includes skirting walls extending from a compartment portion of the exhaust vent, and open to the environment along a surface opposite from the exhaust vent. The environment is fluidly coupled with the compartment portion of the exhaust vent.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOVING A CORE OF DIESEL EMISSION CONTROL DEVICE
A system for removing an existing core from a diesel emission control device (DECD) housing may include a press, a control station, a decore shaft for engaging the existing core, and a push plate. In certain embodiments, the system for removing the existing core may include a collection container for receiving the existing core. In certain embodiments, a push plate having a second aperture is configured to allow the existing core to pass therethrough. A method for removing an existing core from a DECD housing may include placing the DECD housing on a working platform, activating a force to cause the existing core to move relative to the DECD housing, wherein the existing core passes through an aperture of the working platform.
