An apparatus for applying a decal to a nail of a human includes a housing having a cartridge recess, a cartridge that includes a supply spool around which a tape is at least partially wound, the tape having at least one decal that is transferrable to a nail of a human digit, and a take-up spool that includes a tape grip that holds an end of the tape, wherein the cartridge is removably mountable in the cartridge recess, an actuator coupled to the housing and moveable between an unactuated position and an actuated position, a tape advancement arrangement and a decal actuation surface are provided. The tape advancement arrangement coupled to the actuator and arranged to rotate the take-up spool to extend the tape from the supply spool during movement of the actuator between the unactuated position and the actuated position.

Provided are a decorative nail tip and a manufacturing system and method thereof. The decorative nail tip includes a nail tip layer shaped like a nail. A convex outer surface of the nail tip layer is a decorative surface. The nail tip layer includes a flexible portion and a rigid portion which are sequentially arranged in a nail tip direction. The decorative nail tip has a flexible end and a rigid end, and thus can fit the nail and has an orientation function. During use, the decorative nail tip can fit the edge of the nail by means of its flexibility, such that the possibility of stretching, folds, air holes, hollows and edge warping is reduced; and after being cured, the whole nail tip layer can decorate the nail in a rigid and plump form.

A bar slidably mounts in the channel. The bar has at least four surfaces, two shaped to not contact the first post or the second post, and two having an incline that contacts individual posts increasing pressure as the bar slides in a direction in the channel. The bar also includes a lever.

A protective film for application to a portion of an individual's body having a top surface and a bottom surface opposite the top surface.
