Method of controlling an engine of a vehicle
A simple and effective control method is disclosed for starting and stopping a vehicle's engine and automatic lighting of position lamps to show the vehicle's location. The method uses brake and gear shift lever of the vehicle to generate selection signals, and a button switch can be pressed to stop or start the engine of the vehicle according to the selection signals, which can provide vehicle drivers a simple and secure way to control their vehicles while waiting at a stoplight.
Engine device
An engine device executes the control of the opening degree of a main throttle valve when engine load is in a low load area. In contrast, when the engine load is in a medium-to-high load area, the engine device sets the main throttle valve to a predetermined opening degree and executes the control of the opening degree of an air supply bypass valve.
Engine starting apparatus
An apparatus for starting an engine, including a motor, an output shaft driven by the motor, a pinion provided along the output shaft, and an electro-magnetic solenoid device. The electro-magnetic solenoid device is configured to push the pinion axially toward a ring gear of the engine to mesh the pinion with the ring gear and transfer a rotational force, which is referred to as a motor torque, generated by energization of the motor from the pinion to the ring gear, thereby starting the engine. The apparatus is configured such that, at starting of the engine in its warmed-up state, the motor torque can continue to be applied from the pinion to the ring gear until at least the second compression stroke even when an engine speed varies.
One safety control device for petrol post hole digger
This utility type patent publishes a safety control device for petrol post hold digger. It includes an operation frame, respective handles in the opposite two sides of the frame; one is throttle control handle in the right side and another is balance control handle in the left side. The safety control device is mounted on the above of the frame near left side, connected with engine in the middle place of the operation frame by one cable, with the throttle control handle in the right side by another cable. A long touch rod is installed underneath the safety control device, sticking outside of the operation frame to position A as shown in bellow picture. When post hole digger is used, drill bit is driven into soul at clockwise direction. If the drill bit touches big roots or rocks and stops rotation in a sudden, all the inertia and torque from still running engine will be thrown to the operation frame, makes it turn to opposite anticlockwise direction. Then the touch rod, usually sticking out of the frame at position A, will turn to touch leg and rotate in a certain angle towards position B. Detecting this angle change, the safety control device will act and reduce the engine torque by releasing its throttle cable to get a lower speed. As a result, to avoid the operator's danger of falling down, make the machine always operate under comfortable control. This patent is designed to be safe in operation, simple in structure and high practical in use.
Control device for internal combustion engine
A control device for an internal combustion engine includes an in-cylinder pressure detector, an output shaft torque calculator, a target torque calculator, an input torque parameter calculator, and a controller. The output shaft torque calculator is to calculate an output shaft torque of an output shaft of the internal combustion engine based on an in-cylinder pressure. The target torque calculator is to calculate a target torque of the output shaft torque. The input torque parameter calculator is to calculate an input torque parameter representing an input torque such that the output shaft torque becomes equal to the target torque using a feedback control algorithm which is based on a controlled object model which models a controlled object that receives the input torque parameter as input and produces the output shaft torque as output. The controller is to control the output shaft torque using the input torque parameter.
