Eccentric screw pump

An eccentric screw pump for pumping fluids or flowing conveying media from a suction side to a pressure side, which includes a rotor and a stator, the stator being flexible and is connected to the pump housing on one side, in particular on the suction side. The rotor is connected to the drive shaft by means of an articulation. When the eccentric screw pump is in the idle state, there is no sealing contact at least in areas between the rotor and the stator in the sealing areas. When the eccentric screw pump is in the operating state, the stator is surrounded, at least in sections and/or, essentially, on the periphery by the conveying medium. The rotor and the stator are brought into contact with each other in the operating state along the sealing area.

Tip seal and scroll fluid machine using same

Provided is a tip seal that makes it possible to improve the durability of a tip seal installed on the tooth tip of a wall even when a continuously inclined section is provided to the wall. The tip seal is provided with: a tip seal inclined section (7A) installed in a groove section of a wall in which the height changes continuously in a spiral direction; and a tip seal flat section (7B) that is installed in a groove section of the wall in which the height is fixed in the spiral direction and that is adjacent to the tip seal inclined section (7A). A recess (8) is formed at a position away from the adjacent area between the tip seal inclined section (7A) and the tip seal flat section (7B).

A uniaxial eccentric screw pump for rotating a rotor about its axis and revolving the rotor without involving complicated operations and control is provided. The uniaxial eccentric screw pump includes a rotor drive mechanism capable of revolving a rotor while rotating the rotor about its axis. The rotor drive mechanism includes a rotation power transmission member rotatable about a predetermined center axis, and a revolution track formation member capable of revolving a proximal shaft portion of the rotor while allowing rotation of the proximal shaft portion about its axis. The rotor drive mechanism distributes power output from the same motor in parallel and transmit the power to the rotation power transmission member and the revolution track formation member, enabling the rotation power transmission member and the revolution track formation member to rotate about their axes while being synchronized mechanically, and enabling the rotor to revolve while rotating about its axis.

Rotary engine with cam-guided rotor

A rotary engine includes a housing having a working cavity, a shaft, the shaft having an eccentric portion, a rotor having a first axial face, and a second axial face opposite the first axial face, the rotor disposed on the eccentric portion and within the working cavity, the rotor comprising a first cam on the first axial face, the first came having an eccentricity corresponding to the eccentricity of the eccentric portion of the shaft, and a cover integral with, or fixedly attached to, the housing, the cover comprising a plurality or rollers, each roller engaged with the cam, wherein the cam guides the rotation of the rotor as the rotor rotates within the working cavity and orbits around the shaft.

Internal gear pump having a rotationally fixed axial disk

An internal gear pump for a slip-controlled hydraulic vehicle braking system includes a pump shaft that is mounted rotatably on one side of a pinion and a ring gear that is mounted rotatably in an axial disk. The axial disk seals off the pinion and the ring gear at the sides.

Vane-rotary gas compressor

A gas compressor comprising a compressor main body including an approximately cylindrical rotor, a cylinder, a plurality of plate-like vanes formed to abut on the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder, and two side blocks is disclosed. A plurality of compression rooms is arranged inside the compressor main body so as to compress a medium and discharge the compressed high-pressure medium. A back-pressure-supplying groove supplies the back-pressure so as to project the vane toward the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder is arranged. An outer circumferential edge portion of the back-pressure-supplying groove is formed so as to increase a distance from a rotational center of the rotor toward the front side in the rotational direction of the rotor. A sectional surface area of a communication portion between the vane groove and the back-pressure-supplying groove increases until they are separated according to the rotation of the rotor.

Unitary pump and turbine energy exchanger

A positive-displacement unitary pump and turbine is operable as a fluid energy exchanger using a charging fluid as motive force and acting upon a separate feed fluid that exits the turbine at an elevated energy state. The rotor casing defines a rotor chamber having a contoured wall that forms a plurality of lobes, typically in an even number. Each lobe has an inlet port and an outlet port defined by the contoured wall, and the rotor has a plurality of vanes that follow the contoured wall as the rotor spins. The rotor is driven by the charging fluid entering first and second lobes, located generally opposite one another, and exiting the lobes at a lower energy state. The driven rotor is operable to elevate the energy level of a feed fluid in third and fourth lobes, located generally opposite one another.

Scroll compressor having axial guide support

To be as lightweight and compact, for example for automotive technology, a scroll compressor further includes an axial guide that supports the movable compressor body to prevent movements in the direction parallel to a centre axis of the stationary compressor body and, in the event of movements, guides it in the direction transverse to the centre axis. A coupling prevents the movable compressor body from rotating freely. The axial guide supports a compressor body base, which carries the scroll vane, of the second compressor body against an axial support face, in that the axial support face abuts a sliding body such that it is slidable transversely to the centre axis. The sliding body is slidable transversely to the centre axis, on a carrier element that is arranged in the compressor housing.
