The passage may be configured to drain oil from bearings and other oil-lubricated components of the compressor. The compressor may be coupled to a gearbox or an oil tank. The gearbox or oil tank may include a passage that is in fluid communication with the oil drainage passage. The gearbox or oil tank passage may be operative to receive the drained oil and to direct the drained oil to an oil tank.
Vane rotary compressor
The present invention relates to a vane rotary compressor wherein the volume of a compression room is reduced and a fluid is compressed when a rotor rotates. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the present invention provides the vane rotary compressor for maximizing the rotational moment of a vane by extending a weight part at a front end part of the curved blade type vane so as to remove the hitting noise due to the delay of the rotational operation of the vane when the rotor is rotated, and increasing the performance by reducing the internal leak.
SELF-CONTAINED IN-GROUND GEOTHERMAL GENERATOR AND HEAT EXCHANGER WITH IN-LINE PUMP USED IN SEVERAL ALTERNATIVE APPLICATIONS INCLUDING THE RESTORATION OF THE SALTON SEA
Provided here is an architectural plan (the solution) for the restoration of the terminal lake, the Salton Sea, an area of prevalent geothermal sources. It includes division of the Lake into three sections, preventing pollution of the Lake from nearby farmlands and importing seawater in central section with pipeline system; providing condition for tourism, and wildlife sanctuary; generating electricity by harnessing hydro, solar, and geothermal energy; and producing potable water and lithium as byproducts. Also includes a system and method for harnessing geothermal energy for generation of electricity by using complete closed loop heat exchange systems combined with onboard drilling apparatus. The system includes several devices operating separately in many different applications in energy sectors, Also, included is alternative use for the In-Line-Pump for marine crafts propulsion.
Method for manufacturing anti-rotation ring of scroll type compressor and anti-rotation mechanism of the scroll type compressor
In a method for manufacturing an anti-rotation ring of a scroll type compressor, wherein the anti-rotation ring is provided in an anti-rotation mechanism for preventing a movable scroll from rotation on its own axis and made of a metal, the steps of the method include drawing a steel plate into a first intermediate body having a bottomed cylindrical shape, punching the bottom of the first intermediate body thereby to make a second intermediate body and ring forming the second intermediate body.
Scroll-type compressor
A scroll-type compressor includes: a movable scroll including a low-stage movable tooth portion having a spiral shape and protruding from a first side of a movable substrate portion in an axial direction, and a high-stage movable tooth portion having a spiral shape and protruding from a second side of the movable substrate portion in the axial direction; and a shaft arranged to extend through the movable substrate portion and causing the movable scroll to undergo revolution motion. A low-stage compression mechanism and a high-stage movable compression mechanism are provided on opposite sides of the movable substrate portion in the axial direction. The numbers of curling of the low-stage movable tooth portion and the high-stage movable tooth portion are set to be one.
Sectional sealing system for rotary screw compressor
A sectional sealing system for water-spray type screw rotor compressor that is configured to prevent the intermixing of coolant and working fluid from a compression chamber with lubricant used to lubricate at least a bearing system of a rotor. The sealing system may include suction side and discharge side sealing portions that are positioned about first and second shafts, respectively, of the rotor. The suction side sealing portion may include a first seal, a first labyrinth seal, and a second labyrinth seal, the first seal being in proximity to a suction side of the compression chamber. The discharge side sealing portion may include a plurality of first seals, a second seal, a first labyrinth seal, and a second labyrinth seal, the plurality of first seals of the discharge side sealing portion being in proximity to a discharge side of the compression chamber.
Scroll compressor
A scroll compressor is provided that may include a casing including a rotational shaft, a cover fixed inside of the casing to partition the inside of the casing into a suction space and a discharge space, a first scroll revolved by rotation of the rotational shaft, a second scroll disposed on or at one side of the first scroll to define a compression chamber together with the first scroll, the second scroll including a discharge, through which a refrigerant pressed in the compression chamber may be discharged, a switching device movably disposed on or at one side of the discharge to selectively open and close the discharge, a back pressure portion including a moving guide that accommodates at least a portion of the switching device, and a top surface that covers one side of the switching device; and an adhesion preventer that reduces a contact area between the switching device and at least a portion of the back pressure portion.
Hydraulic machine with stepped roller vane and fluid power system including hydraulic machine with starter motor capability
Hydraulic devices are shown and described that can include a rotor, vanes and a ring. The rotor can be disposed for rotation about an axis. The plurality of vanes can each include a vane step. Each of the plurality of vanes can be moveable relative to the rotor between a retracted position and an extended position where the plurality of vanes work a hydraulic fluid introduced adjacent the rotor. A roller can be mounted to a tip of each of the plurality of vanes. The ring can be disposed at least partially around the rotor. The rotor can include one or more passages for ingress or egress of a hydraulic fluid to or from a region adjacent the vane step and defined by at least the rotor and the vane step.
Scroll-type fluid machine with grease-lubricated orbiting bearing
A scroll-type fluid machine reduces intrusion of abrasion powders, generated by sliding of a conductor causing an orbiting scroll side and a fixed scroll side to be conducted, into a compression chamber, and improves reliability of a compressor. The scroll-type machine includes a casing, a fixed scroll having a flange surface attached to the casing, and a wrap portion provided at an end plate, an orbiting scroll having a wrap portion provided at the end plate, and provided in an opposed relationship with the fixed scroll, a drive shaft connected through a crank portion to the orbiting scroll, an orbiting bearing, a face seal portion arranged between the orbiting scroll and the fixed scroll, a cooling fan, and an orbiting scroll side conductive brush.
