The cover end includes a base part that covers the other end portion, a discharge part that is connected to the base part, a bearing accommodating part which is formed such that a cross-section of the bearing accommodating part perpendicular to a rotation axis of the shaft has an annular shape and which includes an accommodating space accommodating the bearing, and a connection part that connects together the base part and the bearing accommodating part. A length of the connection part is shorter than a length of the base part and a length of the bearing accommodating part, in a direction of the rotation axis.
Motor-driven centrifugal pump for the primary circuit of small or medium-sized modular nuclear reactors
A motor-driven centrifugal pump for circulating a coolant in a primary circuit of a nuclear reactor comprises a sealed motor unit, a hydraulic part and a shaft which is immersed in the coolant, turned by the sealed motor unit and pumping the coolant by an impeller of the hydraulic part secured to the shaft. The motor unit comprises a dry stator and an immersed rotor, mounted securely on the shaft. The motor-driven pump also comprises an immersed flywheel mounted securely on the shaft between the rotor of the motor unit and the impeller of the hydraulic part, allowing a minimum slowing-down time after the electrical power supply is cut; and an immersed anti-backspin device, configured to mechanically block the rotation of the shaft in a predetermined direction.

Pump assembly for a dishwashing appliance
A pump assembly for a dishwashing appliance includes an inner diffuser shell defining a motor housing and an outer diffuser shell spaced apart from the inner diffuser shell to define a diffusing plenum. A motor positioned within the motor housing rotates a wash pump impeller and urges a flow of wash fluid through the diffusing plenum. Within the diffusing plenum, guide vanes extend between the inner diffuser shell and the outer diffuser shell to diffuse and direct the flow of wash fluid. The motor is powered by electrical wires that pass through a hole defined through the outer diffuser shell, through one of the plurality of guide vanes, and through the inner diffuser shell.
VERTICAL PUMP AND UREA SYNTHESIS PLANT
A vertical pump includes: a rotary shaft; multi-stage impellers; a casing accommodating the multi-stage impellers; a mechanical seal provided in a penetration part of the casing for the rotary shaft; a balance sleeve, the balance sleeve being positioned between a final stage impeller of the multi-stage impellers and the mechanical seal in the penetration part for the rotary shaft; an intermediate chamber provided between the rotary shaft and the casing and provided on an opposite side of the multi-stage impellers across the balance sleeve in an axial direction of the rotary shaft, the intermediate chamber communicating with an intermediate stage impeller among the multi-stage impellers; a low pressure chamber provided between the rotary shaft and the casing, the low pressure chamber communicating with a low pressure side compared to the intermediate chamber; and a partition wall part dividing the intermediate chamber and the low pressure chamber.
