Lateral support brush
A paint brush comprises an elongate handle having a proximal end and a distal end, a tuft of bristles having properties according to at least two distinct directions, and a ferrule. The bristles are arranged substantially parallel to an axial direction and the cross section of the tuft of bristles is in a plane that has a width in a lateral direction. One end of the handle is operatively associated and is in substantially longitudinal alignment with the tuft and the ferrule is adapted to surroundingly encircle and connect said handle to said tuft of bristles so as to support the bristles against splaying in the lateral direction and limit deflection of the width.

METHOD TO MANUFACTURE AN INJECTION MOLDED COMPONENT AND INJECTION MOLDED COMPONENT
An injection-molded first component of an article, the first component including a sheath element formed from a pre-sheath element, the sheath element having a cavity and a recess extending from the cavity into a wall of the sheath element surrounding the cavity. The recess is formed by a through hole in the pre-sheath element and a lid element closing the through hole. The lid element is connected to the pre-sheath element with a plastic material injection-molded over at least a part of a parting line between the lid element and the pre-sheath element.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF SCRUBBING BRUSHES AND/OR PAINTING BRUSHES
A method for the manufacture of scrubbing brushes and/or painting brushes is provided, in which a processing pressure exerted by a processing tool (3, 4) onto a bristle holder (5) to be processed is determined by a pressure sensor (6), which has a pressure-recording surface (7), which is arranged behind the bristle holder (5) to be processed, in the operating direction of the processing tool (3, 4). In this manner, determination of the processing pressure is possible close to the bristle holder (5) to be processed.

Hair Straightening Brush
Examples of a hairbrush are presented that comprises a heating plate and a plurality of protruding heating elements. The plurality of heating elements is arranged in a pattern resulting in a plurality of undulating paths such that hair strands pass on top of a face of the heating plate and through the plurality of undulating paths during brushing of the hair. A length of at least two of the heating elements, along at least one of the undulating paths, is larger than a width of the at least some of the heating elements. The hairbrush also includes a plurality of heat insulating spacers extending from the heating plate. At least some of the heat insulating spacers are longer than at least some of the said plurality of heating elements, and a plurality of peripheral heat insulating spacers are disposed around at least a portion of the heating plate.
