Friction fit composite column
A composite assembly includes a series of elongated layers joined lengthwise thereof. At least two of the elongated layers each have an upper elongated portion and a lower elongated portion secured together in an end-to-end relationship at a joint therebetween by a connector arrangement. The upper elongated portion is constructed of a wood material, and the lower elongated portion is constructed of a non-wood material. The lower elongated portion may have a reinforcing rod therein.

CABLE STAPLE ASSEMBLY AND SYSTEM
Frangible connectors can extend between and can alone couple adjacent insulator bodies together. The insulator bodies can also include counteracting frangible connectors that can be spaced from and coupled solely to a single one of the plurality of insulator bodies. The counteracting frangible connectors provide a counteracting shearing operation, which can help counteract the counterclockwise rotational movement that the frangible connectors tend to impart as they are sheared. The insulator bodies can be mounted on staples. The insulator bodies can have an upper bridge profile and the staples can have a lower crown profile opposing the upper bridge profile. The lower crown profile and the upper bridge profile can have opposite end portions that engage each other and can have central portions that are simultaneously spaced from each other to provide a central space between corresponding central portions of the insulator bridge and the staple crown.
REVERSIBLE FASTENER CAP
A fastener cap includes a web with opposed top and bottom faces, the web bounded by a peripheral flange, wherein the peripheral flange includes: a planar top surface; and a planar bottom surface which is spaced away from and parallel to the planar top surface. A strip, includes a plurality of the fastener caps disposed in a linear array and joined by flexible tabs.
Ceramic Tile Seam Nail
A ceramic tile seam nail is a special nail for people to fix hooks, shelves, etc by utilizing the ceramic tile seams on the ceramic tile wall in kitchen and bathroom without perforation. The first embodiment: the needle bodies (1) penetrate the circular cylindrical body (2), one end of the circular cylindrical body (2) has a screw thread (3) with a corresponding screw cap (4), the needle bodies (1) can be arranged in a line, this embodiment can adapt to all directions of ceramic tile seams; there are the longitudinal bulges (5) or the longitudinal grooves (6) from the adjacent screw thread (3) to the other end on the circular cylindrical body (2), this is the second embodiment; there are holes (7) on the circular cylindrical body (2), this is the third embodiment; the second and third embodiments can adapt to the horizontal and vertical ceramic tile seams, and can achieve that a single nail fixes an object; the fourth embodiment of the ceramic tile seam nail: the needle bodies (1) penetrate the square body (9) on which are holes (7) or transverse groove (8). This embodiment also breaks the existing method that two nails are necessary to fix an object.
JOIST AND NAILER ASSEMBLY HAVING NAILER PLATES AND A METHOD OF ASSEMBLING
Joists of a structural roofing system typically comprises an upper chord, a lower chord, and web(s), which operatively couple the upper chord to the lower chord. The upper chord and the lower chord may each be formed from two angle members (e.g., otherwise described as L-shaped members). The web may also be formed from a plurality of web members, such as angle members. The joists utilize nailer members on the upper chord to provide a location for assembly with decking panels. The nailer member is attached to the upper chord through the use of nailer plates, which have a plurality of perforated apertures that form teeth. The nailer plate is bent, the teeth are pressed into the nailer member, and plate connections are used to assemble the nailer plates (e.g., manually, automatically, or both) to the upper chord of the joist to form a joist and nailer assembly.
Cap for waterproofing nail
According to an embodiment, a cap for waterproofing a nail comprises a cap body and a tightening protrusion. The cap body includes a flat penetration portion and an edge portion extending from the penetration portion and inclined downward. The cap body is formed of a hard material which may be penetrated by a nail. The tightening protrusion is spaced apart inward from an end of the edge portion by a predetermined distance and protruding downward from a lower surface of the cap body. A thickness of the tightening protrusion is smaller than a thickness of the edge portion.

Nail
A nail that is configured by: a nail main body composed of a soft iron material in which a head portion is formed in an upper end portion of a columnar body; and a tip end portion having a circular conical shape or a polygonal pyramidal shape that is formed in a lower end portion of the nail main body, in which the tip end portion is subjected to a tip end portion hardening treatment by quenching or plastic forging. The nail meets the Japanese Industrial Standards, is capable of being driven in a straight manner even when the tip end portion hits a hard knot, and is capable of being manufactured with relative ease.
