Swivel joint for a swivel support device
A swivel joint includes a support tube, an inner post, a limit member and an adjustor. The support tube includes a tube body having a top open end, a receiving groove, and a through hole communicating with the receiving groove. The inner post is disposed in the tube body, and has a limiting groove. The limit member is disposed in the receiving groove, and has a stop portion disposed in the limiting groove, and an anchor portion disposed in the receiving groove. The adjustor extends into the receiving groove through the through hole and abuts against the limit member near the anchor portion to limit the anchor portion from moving toward the top open end such that the limit member prevents a releasing movement of the inner post through the top open end.
REMOTE CONTROL DEVICE, E.G. FOR REMOTE CONTROL OF A DRONE
A remote control device includes a main body and a support assembly configured to receive a mobile electronic device removably and to hold it, the support assembly having a storage configuration and a usage configuration making it possible to receive the mobile electronic device, the remote control device being configured such that the passage from the storage configuration to the usage configuration controls the powering on of the remote control device.
VEHICLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM INCLUDING A BALL JOINT ASSEMBLY
A ball joint assembly for use in a vehicle suspension system includes a housing including a first end surface and an opposing second end surface. The housing at least one of includes an outer tie rod of a steering assembly and is configured to be coupled to the outer tie rod of the steering assembly. The housing defines a cavity and also includes an opening defined in the second end surface. The ball joint assembly also includes a ball stud coupled to the housing such that a first portion of the ball stud is positioned in the cavity and a second portion of the ball stud extends through the opening. A wire harness is coupled to the first end surface of the housing and extends away from the housing in a direction opposite the second end face surface.
Retaining device for an instrument
The invention relates to a retaining device for an instrument, comprising at least one joint having at least two parts that can be moved relative to each other and at least one drive unit associated with the joint. The drive unit is designed to move the joint by driving at least one of the parts of the joint that can be moved relative to each other. The retaining device also comprises a securing device, which has a locking mechanism associated with the joint and a release unit that can be activated, wherein the locking mechanism interacts with the release unit in such a way that the locking mechanism holds the joint in a locked position as long as the release unit is not activated. The securing device is designed to permit a motion of the joint out of the particular locked position within a specified range of motion even if the release unit is not activated. The invention further relates to a corresponding securing device for a retaining device and to an operating method for said securing device.

Serviceable joint with removable race
A serviceable joint features a pin, a housing with a hollow interior, and a removable race. The race has hollow interior chambers, an upper one of which is larger than the lower. The bottom end of the pin is passable through the hollow interior chambers and onward through an open lower end of the housing to situate the top end of the joint pin within the upper chamber of the race, from which a remainder of the pin hangs in free floating state. A retaining ring is engaged in an annular groove in the peripheral wall of the housing to clamp the race in place in a seated position abutting a tapered exterior area of the race against a tapered interior portion of the housing, whereby the race is centered and stabilized in the housing to restrain the head of the free-floating pin.
