The brake mechanism includes a brake disc and a brake caliper.

A bearing housing (12) for a turbocharger having a rotatable shaft (14) passing through the bearing housing (12) with journal bearings (30) having tilting pads (40) for supporting the rotatable shaft (14) in the bearing housing (12). The tilting pads (40) may have oil supply holes (50) through each pad (40) to direct lubrication to each pad surface (44). The journal bearings (30) preferably have a circumferential groove (52) on an outer surface of the bearing aligned with the oil supply holes (50) to help feed oil to the oil supply holes (50).

A polyoxymethylene (POM) resin composition which is used for a resin molded article having a superior sliding characteristic. The POM resin composition contains: (A) 100 parts by mass of a POM resin; (B) 0.01-1 parts by mass of a hindered phenolic antioxidant; (C) 0.05-1 parts by mass of a nitrogen-containing compound; (D) 0.5-10 parts by mass of a modified olefin polymer; (E) 0.01-5 parts by mass of an alkylene glycol polymer; (F) 0.1-20 parts by mass of calcium carbonate; (G) 0.1-10 parts by mass of a partial ester of a polyhydric alcohol; and (H) 0.1-10 parts by mass of an a-olefin oligomer. An ISO tensile test piece, which is obtained by injection molding at a die temperature of 90° C. and a cylinder temperature of 200° C., is crushed, Soxhlet extraction is performed for 3 hours at 70° C. using methanol, and the alkylene glycol polymer is measured. The weight of the alkylene glycol polymer is 0.001 wt % or less relative to 100 wt % of the test piece.

A transition area between the inner portion and the outer portion includes a spring. The transition area is at least partly in a plane perpendicular to an axial axis of the receiving contour and is at least partly in a plane with at least one part of the inner and the outer portion. The transition area includes an attenuator and the attenuator is configured to attenuate a vibration of the inner portion to reduce a transfer of the vibration from the inner portion to the outer portion. Further, an electric motor, a method for producing a bearing holder and a method for operating a bearing holder are described.

Hydrostatic bearing assembly

A hydrostatic bearing assembly for a shaft is disclosed, which consists of a base ring, two side rings enclosed up the base ring at both sides, and a plurality of hydrostatic blocks fixed respectively on surfaces of the base ring and of the side rings corresponded to the shaft, as result to hold the shaft to resist against loadings from the axial direction and/or the radial direction and provide lubrication through oil passages inside. These hydrostatic blocks are locked with screws or bolts on the base ring and on the side rings in order to be replaced individually on site.

The cross-sectional structure includes first copper alloy grains that are in contact with a bonding surface of the back-metal layer and second copper alloy grains that are not in contact with the bonding surface. The first copper alloy grains has an average grain size D1 and the second copper alloy grains has an average grain size D2. D1 and D2 satisfy the following relations: D1 is 30 to 80 μm; and D1/D2=0.1 to 0.3.
