Pulley Structure
The pulley structure (1) of the present invention includes a ventilation path (10) that is formed at a position shifted in a radial direction from a rotating axis of a first rotating body (2) and allows a spring accommodation space (8) formed between the first rotating body (2) and a second rotating body (3) and the outside to communicate with each other. At least a part of the ventilation path (10) is formed in an end cap (5) that blocks an opening portion (21) on one side of the first rotating body (2) in a rotating axis direction. The end cap (5) blocks the opening portion (21) of the first rotating body (2) such that the spring accommodation space (8) does not communicate with the outside toward the one side in the rotating axis direction other than the ventilation path (10).
Spring loaded sprocket carrier
A device that will allow a go kart to smoothly accelerate and decelerate particularly during racing the go cart. This device once assembled will allow the gradual absorption of shock on the drive chain as it rotates around thereby, rotating the axle of the go kart.
Universal joint system
A universal joint system is provided for joining tubular members to form two-dimensional or three-dimensional shapes or structures. The system includes a plurality of cubic elements, a plurality of adaptor elements, a plurality of connection elements, and a plurality of insertion elements. Structures or shapes built with the system can have a smooth and continuous appearance. In addition, the construction of varies structures or shapes requires only few kinds of elements and no special tool or training is needed.
Bracket assembly
A bracket assembly includes a first flange portion with a first flange aperture. A swivel portion has first and second leg portions, each with an aperture, extending outward from a second flange portion with an aperture. The first and second leg portions define a first opening that receives the first flange portion. The first flange aperture, the first leg aperture, and the second leg aperture align and the first fastener extends therethrough. The swivel portion pivots about the first fastener in a first direction. A connector has first and second prongs, each with an aperture, defining a second opening that receives the second flange portion. The first prong aperture, the second prong aperture, and the second flange aperture align and the second fastener extends therethrough. The connector pivots about the second fastener in a second direction opposite the first direction.
Coupling
A displacement compensating coupling comprises a first coupling member, a second coupling member and connecting elements for connecting the coupling members. The coupling members are each made in one piece from composite material and have a first flange portion for attachment to one of the drive elements, a diaphragm portion that extends radially outwardly from the first flange portion, a second flange portion and a tube portion extending from an outer circumference of the diaphragm portion to the second flange portion. Each of the tube portions has two or more recesses that are spaced from each other in circumferential direction. In a first relative position of the coupling members, the recesses of the first coupling member face the recesses of the second coupling member, and in a second relative position the recesses of the first coupling member and of the second coupling member are offset in circumferential direction.
One-piece inertia ring for a harmonic damper
A harmonic damper for use in vehicular accessory drive systems. The harmonic damper includes a one-piece inertia ring manufactured from a sheet metal blank using a cold forming process to define a series of interconnected folded ring sections.
Dampening assembly and related method of making same
An assembly comprising: a powder metal outer part (22) having a radially inward facing cylindrical surface (54) with a plurality of facets (52) formed thereon that, in an alternating fashion, extend in an axial direction from an axial side of the powder metal outer part toward an opposite axial side of the powder metal outer part to a position between the opposing axial sides of the powder metal outer part; a powder metal inner part (20) having a radially outward facing cylindrical surface with a plurality of facets formed thereon that, in an alternating fashion, extend in an axial direction from an axial side of the powder metal inner part toward an opposite axial side of the powder metal inner part to a position between the opposing axial sides of the powder metal inner part; and an intermediate component (26) disposed between the cylindrical surfaces of the powder metal outer part and the powder metal inner part that connects the powder metal outer part and the powder metal inner part together.
Retaining wall soil reinforcing connector and method
An apparatus for connecting an earthen formation to a concrete facing of a mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) structure, and a method of manufacturing the same. A one-piece, flat, plate-like connector has a stem and a tab, wherein the stem is resistance welded to a soil reinforcing element embedded within the earthen formation. The tab is connected to a facing anchor attached to the concrete facing. The stem of the plate connector has grooves formed in its opposing sides and longitudinal channels to increase the strength of the resistance weld.
