Vehicle differential disconnect assembly
A vehicle differential disconnect assembly can include a differential case, a differential gear set, and a torque distribution device. The differential gear set is carried within the differential case. The torque distribution device transfers torque between the differential gear set and side shafts of the accompanying vehicle driveline. The torque distribution device can include a clutch pack and an actuator assembly. The clutch pack is located at a first side of the differential case relative to the differential gear set, and the actuator assembly is located at a second side of the differential case relative to the differential gear set. The actuator assembly has a mover that transmits movement to the clutch pack when the actuator assembly actuates and deactuates the clutch pack.
CLUTCH ACTUATION UNIT
The disclosure relates to a disengagement system for actuating a clutch, in particular a clutch in the powertrain of a motor vehicle between the drive motor and the transmission, having a threaded spindle which is rotationally fixed to the clutch at an end region and is thus connected to the drive motor. The disengagement system additionally comprises a disengagement unit, having a stator and a rotor which is connected to the stator by an axial bearing, wherein the rotor rotates together with the threaded spindle and is in engagement with the threaded spindle via a spindle nut, and the clutch is actuated by adapting the rotational speed of the rotor.

Vehicle system and method for remote start operation
A vehicle system and method for remote start operation in the vehicle system are provided. The method includes responsive to receiving a remote start request and while the vehicle is stationary, automatically engaging a wheel-arresting device coupled to a wheel in the vehicle. The method also includes when an electronically actuated clutch is automatically disengaged and subsequent to the automatic engagement of the wheel-arresting device, implementing remote start operation in an engine, where the wheel-arresting device is distinct from a secondary vehicle brake.

Disconnect apparatus and a method of sensing a state thereof
A disconnect apparatus including a first clutch member and a second clutch member in selective engagement with the first clutch member. The disconnect apparatus also includes a cam mechanism and a sensor assembly. The cam mechanism includes an axially movable first cam member and an axially fixed second cam member, wherein the sensor assembly generates a pulse pattern which is utilized to determine a position of the first cam member, and thereby a state of the disconnect apparatus.
