Ventilation flow rate regulator for a pressurised tank of a vehicle

A ventilation flow rate regulator for a pressurised tank of a vehicle. The regulator includes a body including a gas inlet and a gas outlet, and at least one restrictor mounted movably relative to the body. The restrictor is mounted to reduce a cross-section of at least one path of a gas flow proceeding from the inlet to the outlet, when a flow rate at the inlet is greater than a predetermined threshold. The regulator is arranged so that the cross-section remains non-zero irrespective of a flow rate.

A thermodynamic valve for retaining vapours and gases and relieving pressure and vacuum for use in the venting of tanks or reservoirs of combustible liquids (fluids), said valve comprising: upper diaphragm ring (3a) and lower diaphragm ring (3b) that act through the thermodynamic action of the positive and negative pressures inside positive pressure (4) and negative pressure (5) chambers fixed to one another, a cap (2) screwed on the body of positive pressure chamber (4) and having upwardly directed lateral openings and a rupture seal (1) fitted in the upper section of cap (2). A base (5.1) with an inner fire-break fabric (6) is positioned on the inner lower section of negative pressure chamber (5) and connected to the fuel tank venting pipe.

Liquid reservoir shutoff vent

A shutoff vent is disclosed. A main body has a first end and a second end. The main body defines a first opening towards the first end, a second opening towards the second end, and a mating port between the first opening and the second opening. The first opening and the second opening are in communication through the mating port to define a gas passageway. A translatable plug is disposed within the main body, and the gas passageway extends past the translatable plug. The translatable plug is configured to reversibly translate towards the second end to sealably obstruct the mating port. In some examples, the translatable plug is configured to translate towards the second end when force is applied to the translatable plug from the first end.

Drain valve, exterior aircraft light unit and power supply box

A drain valve for draining liquid from an enclosed space comprises a movable plunger, which is movable between a closed position in which the plunger does not allow liquid to flow through the drain valve, and at least one open position, in which the plunger allows liquid to flow through the drain valve; and an elastic element, which is configured to urge the movable plunger into its closed position. The plunger is provided with at least one duct extending through the plunger and allowing fluid to flow through the drain valve when the plunger is positioned in its closed position, wherein said at least one duct is closed by a semi-permeable medium, which is permeable for air and water vapor and impermeable for liquid water.

Transmission pressure controlled vent system

A transmission having a pressure controlled vent system, including a vent tube configured to engage a transmission such that a first opening of the vent tube is in fluid communication with an upper portion of a transmission cavity, a second end defining a second opening configured to be in fluid communication with an external atmosphere, and a bifurcated portion between the first end and the second end. The bifurcated portion includes a first tube segment and a second tube segment in parallel with the first tube segment. A pressure relief valve disposed in-line within the first tube segment and a vacuum relief valve disposed in-line within the second tube segment. The pressure relief valve cooperates with the vacuum relief valve to maintain a predetermined range of pressure differential between the first opening and the second opening. The vent tube may also include a moisture and/or a transmission fluid separator.
