Threaded tubular end protector
A thread protector that has an external sleeve having threads disposed on an inner side to engage with pin threads disposed on a pin end of a tubular member. The thread protector also has a flange disposed on a first end of the external sleeve to engage with the pin end of the tubular member, the threads on the inner side of the external sleeve are disposed axially adjacent to the flange and radially adjacent to the end of the pin end of the tubular member. A method of protecting the pin threads of the pin ends of the tubular members. The method includes screwing the thread protector on the pin threads of the pin end of the tubular member.
Vehicle Exhaust Evacuation System
A vehicle exhaust evacuation system includes an adapter secured to an end of a vehicle tailpipe and a nozzle assembly secured to the end of a flexible hose for carrying vehicle exhaust outside of a building. The nozzle assembly has an aluminum cartridge removably secured in a rubber boot. Magnet assemblies are secured to the aluminum cartridge. Openings in the adapter allow ambient air to flow over the magnet assemblies to lengthen the life of the magnets.
Floating load ring for flexible joint
A free-floating load ring for assembly into a flexible coupling having a convoluted bellows and a surrounding mesh sleeve, the ring captured by the sleeve at an end of the coupling and spacing the sleeve from the bellows when forces are applied to the coupling. Various rings can be added to existing non-load supporting or flexible couplings having no previous rings. The load ring is retained in place by engagement of coupling components with the ring without physical connection of the ring to any coupling component.

Method of protecting end fittings of a hose or tube
A method of protecting the end fittings of a tube or hose includes the steps of providing an end fitting that is attached to a hose or tube. Providing a heat shrinkable plastic capsule having a tubular portion with an open end and a closed end. Placing the plastic capsule over the end fitting until the closed end of the capsule is in contact with end of the fitting. Placing a magnet at the outer face of the capsule to maintain the end of the capsule in contact with the end of the fitting and heat shrinking the capsule onto the fitting. Removing the magnet from the end of the capsuled fitting.

Tubing connector for decreased contamination
A protective guard for a medical tubing connector includes a ring, at least one flexible member attached at a first end to the ring and having a second end, and a base attached to the second end of the at least one flexible member. The ring is configured to fit over a first connection member of the medical tubing connector, while the base is configured to fit over a second connection member of the medical tubing connector. When coupled with the medical tubing connector, the protective guard helps prevent a user from touching the medical tubing connector.
Quick coupling system for vertical fluid conveying conduits
A coupling system for quickly connecting fluid conveying conduits.
High Pressure Conduit Connector and Safety Conduit System Including Same
Safety conduit system includes a pair of couplings, each including an elongate fitting or housing having barbs at one end and spaced apart teeth at an opposite end. A conduit made of a thermoplastic hose, and stainless steel reinforcement around the hose is attached at each end to the barbed end of a respective coupling. A thread is optionally provided on an outer surface of the housing inward of the barbs so that ferrules on the conduit and having inner threads can threadingly engage with the threads on the couplings and enable the safety conduit system to maintain connection between the conduit and couplings at relatively high fluid flow pressure through the safety conduit system, such as around 40,000 psi.
Threaded tubular end protector
A thread protector that has an external sleeve to protect pin threads disposed on a pin end of a tubular member. The thread protector also has flange disposed on a first end of the external sleeve to engage with the pin end of the tubular member. The thread protector further includes a securing apparatus extending from the flange to frictionally engage an inside portion of the tubular member to maintain position of the thread protector on the tubular member. A method of protecting the pin threads of the pin ends of the tubular members. The method includes screwing the thread protector on the pin threads of the pin end of the tubular member.
