Connector

A connector for a component fitting assembly of an air conditioning system includes a substantially planar plate having a recessed portion and a slot portion. The recessed portion and the slot portion are formed in the plate to define an opening for receiving a conduit therein. A method for coupling the conduit to the connector includes the step of urging at least the portion of the conduit through the slot portion and into the recessed portion of the plate, whereby the at least the portion of the conduit is deformed to correspond with a configuration of the opening to militate against disengagement between the plate and the at least the portion of the conduit disposed in the opening of the plate.

Plug-in connection system, in particular for fluidic lines, fittings or assemblies
09746115 · 2017-08-29 · ·

A plug-in connection system for fluidic lines, fittings or assemblies, having a housing part and a plug part that can be plugged into a receiving opening of the housing part. A holding element on one of the coupling parts latches with a mating holding element on the other of the coupling parts. The holding element has a spreading surface that, by sliding relative to a corresponding surface of the plug part causes a spreading movement of the holding element, transversely with respect to an axis during installation. In order to improve the plug-in behavior during installation, a spreading contour of the spreading surface engages a mating contour in such a way that, while being plugged in, the spreading travel (Sw) of the holding element changes in a non-linear manner, depending on the status of installation.

Method of installing fuel lines in an aircraft

A fuel line assembly for an aircraft comprises a ferrule assembly comprising a ferrule affixed to an isolation tube, which may be directly affixed to a fuel tube or affixed to an extension tube, which in turn, is affixed to the fuel tube. The ferrule assembly provides electrostatic discharge protection and lightning protection as the isolation tube maintains a separation distance from the ferrule and fuel tube, both of which are made from metal. The isolation tube is made from a dielectric material, but which may have conductive particles added to aid in the dissipation of an electrostatic charge. The electrical resistance through the isolation tube has a lower limit to arrest the flow of the induced lightning current through the assembly. The amount of lightning protection afforded can be configured. The ferrule assembly components may be affixed by using thermo-welding, adhesive, or mechanical pressure.

Pipe connector

A retainer is equipped with a regulation segment, which regulates the position of an O-ring placed in an insertion hole, and a prevention segment, which engages with a spool of a pipe and prevents the pipe from being removed from the insertion hole. Moreover, by moving the retainer toward the minus side in the Y direction and attaching it to an attachment segment, the retainer becomes sandwiched between an opposing wall portion and a tube segment in the X direction. Because of this, the number of parts can be reduced and the retainer that regulates the position of the O-ring can be prevented from being moved in the X direction by the pressure of fluid flowing inside the pipe connector in the X direction.

TWO FLOW, SUBSEA, HYDROCARBON FLUID FLOW PATH CONNECTING CONCENTRIC HUB AND USE OF SUCH A HUB
20220307638 · 2022-09-29 ·

The present invention concerns a two flow, hydrocarbon production fluid flow path connecting concentric hub. The hub comprises a first and second end sections, each with a concentric port, a concentric inner flow path forming a part of an inner flow path and a side port forming a part of an outer flow path in an annulus surrounding the inner flow path. A female and a male coupling section, each with an inner cylindrical flow section form a part of the concentric inner flow path, and female and male coupling section outer parts surrounding the female and the male coupling section inner cylindrical flow section form a part of the outer flow path in the annulus surrounding the concentric inner flow path. A sealing surface is located between the male coupling section and the female coupling section. The invention also concerns use of the above concentric hub.

Connecting device for feed lines

The invention relates to a device for connecting feed lines, comprising: first electrical connector elements which can each be connected to a power supply, and first fluid connection elements which can be connected to a working fluid source, all of said elements being grouped together in a fixed manner in a first stationary connector; a power feed line, a working fluid feed line; and a second fluid connection element coupled to a first end of a flexible tube and second electrical connector elements, grouped together in a fixed manner in a first movable connector. According to the invention, at least first end segments of the second electrical connector elements and of the flexible tube are disposed inside an elastically flexible hose that is connected to the first movable connector.

The present general inventive concept, in some of its many example embodiments, relates to a line, in particular for the conduction of gaseous media under high pressure, preferably in the range of 150 bar to 400 bar, very preferably in the range of 200 bar to 350 bar, in particular 200 bar to 250 bar, having at least one high-pressure line and at least one gas recirculation line, characterized in that the gas recirculation line is arranged, preferably coaxially, inside the high-pressure line and the gas recirculation line comprises a stabilization device, in particular in spiral form, preferably a steel spiral, very preferably a normal steel spiral or a stainless steel spiral.

Concentric flexible hose assembly

Provided is a flexible hose assembly having an inner nipple coupled to an inner flexible hose and an outer nipple at least partially surrounding the inner nipple and being coupled to an outer flexible hose, wherein a first fluid flowing through the inner nipple is directed outward in-between the inner and outer flexible hoses and a second fluid flowing in-between the inner and outer nipples is directed inward to the inner flexible hose. By directing the second fluid inward and the first flow outward, the outer flexible hose is prevented from collapsing on the inner flexible hose when pressure of the second fluid flowing through the inner flexible hose is greater than a pressure of the first fluid flowing through the outer flexible hose.
