LUBRICATION SYSTEM WITH A RESERVE TANK
A lubrication system for a mechanical system, the lubrication system comprising a main tank, a reserve tank and a main lubrication circuit. The main lubrication circuit comprises, in particular, a pump drawing in the lubricating liquid from the main tank via a main suction point and a main suction pipe connecting the main suction point to the pump. The reserve tank is supplied with lubricating liquid either directly from the main tank or via the main lubrication circuit. The reserve tank is connected to the main suction pipe via an outlet pipe and the reserve tank is located above the main suction point so that the lubricating liquid flows through the outlet pipe to the main suction pipe by gravity.
System and method for mechanical system chip detection capability verification
A system and method for verifying a mechanical system chip detection capability, the method including determining a slurry injection location in machinery according to a targeted obstruction in the machinery in relation to a target chip detector of the machinery, placing an injection tube through a machinery casing of the machinery, providing a slurry tube connected to the injection tube, the slurry tube containing a slurry comprising conductive chips and a lubricant, operating the machinery until the machinery meets one or more predetermined operating parameters, injecting the slurry into the machinery casing during operation of the machinery and after the machinery meets the one or more predetermined operating parameters, and monitoring the target chip detector for detection of the conductive chips during the operation of the machinery.
DEVICE FOR OUTPUTTING A FUTURE STATE OF A LUBRICATION SYSTEM
A device for outputting a future state of a central lubrication system includes at least one sensor for recording a parameter of the central lubrication system, a processing unit for processing the recorded parameter, determining a current state of the central lubrication system based on the processed parameter, and estimating a future state of the central lubrication system over a certain period of time based on the current state and stored data, and an output unit for outputting the future state of the central lubrication system.

Condition monitoring pod
Apparatuses are disclosed including an apparatus for machine fluid monitoring or sampling comprising a transparent sight glass attachable to a machine such that machine fluid is transferable to the sight glass. The sight glass is at least partially constructed of one or more materials that is transparent to light in a visible region. The sight glass has an open first end, a closed second end, an inside surface and an outside surface extending from the open first end to the closed second end and across the closed second end, the sight glass at least partially surrounds a cavity within the sight glass, the inside surface and the outside surface of the closed second end being parallel. The closed second end is constructed of the one or more materials that are transparent to light in the visible region to allow inspection of machine fluid through the closed second end.

ABNORMALITY DETECTION DEVICE FOR ROLLING BEARING
An abnormality detection device for a rolling bearing includes a filter that allows passage of lubricating oil, while preventing passage of metal pieces, from the bearing space between the outer ring and the inner ring of the rolling bearing to the exterior of the bearing space. The device further includes an electrical circuit including a pair of permanent magnets mounted, as a pair of electrodes, to the filter so as to be spaced apart from each other, and electrical lines extending from the respective electrodes to a power source. A state detector detects a change in electrical output from the electrical circuit when metal pieces adhere between the pair of permanent magnets, thereby detecting the state of the metal pieces contained in the lubricating oil.
CONTINUOUS PROVISION OF A VALID LUBRICANT SAMPLE
An arrangement forming a lubricant circuit includes at least one lubricant line, at least one line branching that branches the lubricant line into a first branch and a second branch. The arrangement further includes at least one lubricant reservoir integrated into the first branch, and at least one line junction where the first branch and the second branch merge. The first branch is lockable and releasable.
METHOD AND SYSTEM OF LUBRICATING CONSUMERS TO BE MONITORED VIA THEIR LUBRICANT
A method involves directing lubricant to different consumers which are to be monitored via their lubricant. The lubricant is drained through drain lines connected to the consumers and directed to a tank. At least some the lubricant in the drain lines or the consumers is extracted into extraction lines. Flow from the extraction lines is selectively directed to a measurement device, which then measures a characteristic of the lubricant. A system for carrying out such a method is also provided, wherein the system includes a multiplexer for selectively directing flow from the extraction lines.
